Got this bench with 4 of their dining chairs and we're really happy with both. They go together nicely. Easy to assemble and it's sturdy. We keep the bench as a decorative piece most of the time, but when we need extra seating we just move some chairs around and put it up to the table. It looks good just sitting there and it works just fine for eating too. Both our kids and adults have sat on it for meals and it's comfortable.

Measurements Not Quite Right
The measurements listed weren’t accurate. It said 39.96, which would have worked perfectly, but the top spindle back support is actually 41. This means the bench doesn’t fit in the space I had in mind. It’s important for these details to be right! After I left my review, Colby from Hawkins Woodshop reached out. He offered me a full refund if I returned it or a $50 credit. I decided to keep the bench since I didn’t want to take it apart and send it back. Good customer service, and the bench itself is fine, so I figured I’d give my review a bump.

Easy to put together and looks nice. However, it's advertised as being 15.35" deep but when you add in the slant to the back, it actually comes out a depth of 21" from the wall. Had I known that, I probably wouldn't have purchased it since my entryway is narrow.

Super sturdy and very country chic. Fits perfectly in our rv, though once built the measurements are off. Because the back leans it adds a few inches. Instead of 17 inches depth, its actually 21. Very happy with them. Though the weight limit is listed at 250, the hold alot more. We are using them for two adults at a time, or three kids. Super cute, would buy again.

Comfortable and Sturdy
This bench was very easy to put together and is sturdy. At first I thought it might need a cushion, but it’s surprisingly comfortable. I am 5’2” tall and if I sit all the way back on the bench as intended with no shoes on, the heel of my foot will not touch the ground, which is to be expected based on the measurements given. The chairs in the photo are from the same company (duhome Dining Chairs Set of 2, Wood Dining Room Chairs Slat Back Kitchen Room Chair Windsor Chairs, Black). In parentheses is the exact name for the chairs in the photo that I bought. In the 3rd photo is a really close photo of the bench that has slight imperfections; for me all it confirms is that it’s real wood and the white showing is wood primer under the black paint. It’s hard to tell, but in person I can clearly see the wood grain in the bench.
