I have to say, I was skeptical about this forearm support at first, but it's really impressed me! It's comfortable and helps me stay at my computer for longer periods. I used to have issues with my ring finger and pinky going numb while I was working or gaming, but I haven’t had that problem since I started using this. Great arm/elbow rest!
I really enjoy working from home. It saves me so much on gas and I can set up my office just the way I like it with my own monitors and gear. Since I spend a lot of time at my desk for both work and leisure, I need it to be comfy. I didn’t know they had an elbow rest like this until I saw it, and I knew I had to give it a shot. It came in a simple box and was fully assembled, looking almost new. Setup was a breeze—just clamp it onto your desk and tighten it up. In use, it’s pretty neat! The hinges let it swivel all around, so no matter how I move my arm, I've got support. The padding is a bit firm, so if you plan to use it for long stretches, you might want to add a cushion. I got this because I've been working a lot lately, trying to finish a book and other projects. I already have a good chair, but I still get arm pain, especially in my elbows and shoulders. Ordered this as I have been working more than usual trying to launch some products and writing a lot - including a 250 page book that had a hard deadline. So arm pain can definitely become a thing, and despite having a great chair for posture (Herman Miller Aeron - accept no other substitutes lol) and that even has fully adjustable arms, it can creep up on you, especially in the elbow/shoulder areas. So I needed something higher and more stable that just a wrist rest. I had no idea that a product this specific existed but I am so glad I found it - this thing is awesome!! It was very easy to set up - attached to the desk quickly and effortlessly, too. There was very little on the way of assembly needed - it's just an arm that swings out which comes attached already, and you get nubs to put in the bolt spots to keep everything white - and an Allen wrench to tighten with. That's really all you need anyway. This is an item that, if you are not mechanically inclined, you are not going to struggle with. Trust me, if I - possibly the least handy person in America - had no trouble with this - you will be just fine :)Once it's attached, you can move it around easily to whatever position is most comfortable. It glides smoothly and allows you to make small micro adjustments, which is great - it's sturdy and firm, the "bed" where you place your arm is padded so it's really comfortable, and it does wobble or move around while in use, so it does not interrupt your workflow in any way. It fits on a "standard" desk which is thicker and even a standing desk that is less so - and you can tighten using the knob attached to the clip. It doesn't stick out horribly or take up any room that it doesn't need to, so it doesn't make your desk look like a medical device - which, in looking at the photos, you might think that's the case. This is a sort of unique item that it's hard to price compare on but given how useful it is - and how much better my shoulder and arm feel after a loooong work sessions, I would say it's well worth the price. Repetitive motion surgery is far more than $32 (the price as of this writing), trust me. Your upper body will thank you for making this investment even after using it for a day or two. Highly recommend this to anyone who sits at a desk for full days on end - it really helps keep your arm in a more natural position and gives you comfort overall... That's enough to make it a big thumbs up in my book. Highly recommend!!
