Customer Reviews
I bought this chair about 5 months ago and I'm still really happy with it. It feels even more comfortable now that it’s broken in, and it hasn't sagged at all. The armrests are easier to move, which is nice. I can sit in it for hours without any pain, and my friends have commented on how nice and comfy it is. I used to have a Secret Lab chair, but it gave me back pain. After a lot of searching for ergonomic chairs, I found this one and decided to give it a try. Assembly was easy—I did it by myself in under an hour. It feels supportive right from the start, and the adjustability is great for my size (5’5”, 190 lbs). My only small issue is that the armrests could be softer since they are a bit hard. I had a chance to keep a Herman Miller Aeron chair, but I like the adjustability of this one better, so I sold the other chairs. I hope it lasts well, but it feels solid so far. Also, customer service was good. I had a gas lift issue, and they sent me a replacement quickly, along with a lumbar pillow. Thanks to Colby for the help! Overall, for the price, it’s a great chair with service. Just get it!

I really love this chair. My old chair, an X-Chair X2, broke down after 5 years and caused me some hip issues. I found this one for about 85% less, and it's been great. It feels solid at around 50 lbs, and the materials seem good. Shipping was on time and it came in a sturdy box, which I liked. Everything was packed nicely in padded protectors. Putting it together was easy. The instructions were clear and in plain English, with all the hardware organized and even some extra screws just in case. They included a tool to use, and it took me about 20 minutes by myself. The design let me use the box as a helper, which was. Comfort-wise, it's an A+. There's no chair, but this one is pretty close for me. I'm a guitar teacher and it adjusts well for that. The armrests can move out of the way, so I can play without any issues. It looks nice too—sporty yet classy. I'm happy with how it looks. I do switch out the casters for 'Office Oasis' ones because they make any chair better, but I'm sure these ones are solid too. If you're looking for a good office, gaming, or guitar chair, grab this one while you can.

I've put together a lot of chairs over the years, but I was really impressed with how clear the instructions were for this one. The assembly was straightforward, and the parts were prepped in a way that saved me time. It was nice to see everything labeled correctly and organized in a clear packet. You can tell the folks at Hawkins Woodshop care about the user experience; it's not something you see often with other brands. When it comes to ergonomics, this chair nails it. It’s designed for comfort, and I love that they’ve thought about seat depth for different heights. There are three screw placements to suit short, medium, and tall folks. Being on the smaller side, I appreciated that the guide worked perfectly for me. In terms of quality and craftsmanship, mesh chairs are not easy to find, but this one exceeded my expectations. The mesh is comfortable and breathable, even for long sitting sessions, unlike some rough designs I've dealt with before. The hardware is well-made, with screws and attachments that align perfectly, which made everything easy to put together. Plus, no messy washers to deal with! Aesthetically, this chair looks great. I chose the wood edition, and it fits in beautifully with my wooden decor. Considering the price, I think it’s a steal for the quality you get. If you want a stylish and functional chair without breaking the bank, this is the one. It’s a shame that it doesn’t show up easily in searches—after getting burned by some other disappointing models, I'm so relieved I found this chair.

Great Office Chair
This is hands down the best office chair I've ever had. It's super supportive and has plenty of adjustable parts to make it fit me well—like the seat height, armrests, headrest, and the recline feature. Putting it together was a breeze; I managed it on my own in about 30 minutes, and the instructions were clear with helpful tips. I especially love the headrest and footrest, which add a nice touch for comfort during long work sessions. The recline is smooth, and being able to lock it in position is convenient.

Comfortable chair, easy assembly, and great service
This chair is a solid pick for the price! I'm 6'2'' and about 200 lbs, and it feels good—just as comfy as the ones you'd find in a corporate office. I've had my share of chairs, and they usually wear out quickly, but this mesh seat seems like a better option since it won't get too warm, which is a big plus for working from home. I had a little mix-up with my order from Hawkins Woodshop—they sent me a return with some parts missing and a stiff gas piston. But the service was excellent! Colby helped me get the missing parts and even upgraded my caster wheels. Plus, there's a 2 or 3-year warranty, so I feel confident about my purchase. Given how pricey some furniture can be, it makes sense to invest in something that should last a few years before considering an upgrade.

I absolutely love this chair! After my expensive X-Chair broke after five years and messed up my hips, I decided to try this one since it was much cheaper. It's pretty heavy, around 50 lbs, which makes it feel solid and well-made. Shipping was on time, and it came in a sturdy box with everything nicely organized in padded protectors. Impressed with how well it was packed! Putting it together was a breeze—clear instructions and all the parts were easy to find. They even gave an extra screw of each size just in case, which was a nice touch. I got it all set up in about 20 minutes on my own, and the box was even used to prop up the seat while I attached the back. Clever! The comfort is top-notch! No chair is, but this one is close for me. I teach guitar and spend a lot of time at my computer, so I need something that feels good to sit in for long periods. The armrests adjust nicely, so I can play without them getting in the way. Looks-wise, it’s got a sporty yet classy vibe. I’m happy with how it looks and the color. I usually swap out the wheels for some better ones, but I’m sure the casters that come with it are solid, too. Overall, if you're looking for a chair for work or gaming, check this one out while it’s still around!

So good I bought two of them
I have purchased two of these chairs. One in May 2025 and one in May 2026. They are both great chairs - one for me and one for my son. The assembly was very easy and instructions are explained simply. The first chair I bought only had one set of holes on the seat cushion and the second chair now has 3 holes (small, medium, large) for different heights. I'm 6'1 and the original was great, and for my son I also set it to large (I believe for 5'9+). These chairs are incredibly comfortable and I we can sit on them for hours. The mesh seat has tension which makes it comfortable for sitting, imo. The chairs also look nice and elegant. There is a logo on the back if you use the headrest, but other than that it is unbranded. I don't personally use the headrest much, but it is installed for when I need it. You can adjust the headrest in different angles and heights, and lean it forward if you are used to using one. I'm a heavy guy (~300 lbs) and have had no noise like creaks or issues with my chair in over 1 year, so I'm incredibly happy with it. It also helped my posture, coming from executive-style chairs where comfort seems to triumph posture, I had a few days of upper back pain but it was due to poor posture and quickly corrected itself. I also really like that the arm rests go up. On the second chair install, one arm rest wasn't going up as expected and seemed to hit something, but I just took it off and re-installed it, ensuring not to tighten it too much - and it works great with little resistance. I probably over tightened it.
