Best purchase I've made in a long time!
I can't say enough good things about my experience with this Crosley console. I thought about buying it for almost a year, and finally got it as an early Father's Day gift for my husband to go with the turntable I fixed after it sat unused for over 2 years. The console arrived almost a week sooner than I expected, and although the packaging had a few minor issues, everything was well protected. There were a few scratches on the handles since they were packed together without any padding, but nothing serious. It took me less than an hour and a half to unbox, put together, and set it up by myself. I was really impressed by how straightforward it was to assemble and how solid it feels. My 3-year-old even helped out! Everything was included, and the instructions were clear. No flimsy materials here; it’s veneered wood that looks great and feels sturdy enough to withstand our lively little ones. I think it’s a great value for what you’re getting. It fits all our frequently used records and our record player perfectly. The only improvement I’d suggest would be to add the option for record racks on both sides. I’m thinking of drilling higher holes for the shelves so I can add more space for records on the other side. Overall, highly recommend!

Great looking and sturdy furniture, just a bit tight for my turntable
I'm really happy with how this piece turned out. The wood quality is impressive—it feels solid, unlike some cheaper furniture. I love the useful features, especially the hinged lid that keeps my turntable safe when it's not in use. The dividers underneath are smart, and the adjustable shelves on the left side are a nice touch; I might even use it as a liquor cabinet. However, I do have one issue: the space for the turntable is a bit cramped. It fits, but my cords are pretty snug. If your turntable has a plastic cover that opens, you probably won't be able to keep it on. I suggest measuring your turntable to avoid surprises. There was also a small blemish on the lid, which I'll just touch up. Overall, I'd say it’s a 9 out of 10, just losing a point for the tight fit.

Looks great!
This console is really nice! I was worried it wouldn’t look as good as the pictures, but it actually does and even surpasses my expectations. Putting it together was a breeze, and it feels sturdy. The sound quality is solid whether the top is open or closed, and there's plenty of room for cleaning supplies along with my record player and other essentials to keep everything neat. My music room isn't fully done yet, so I won't add photos right now, but I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Helpful info for future buyers
The cabinet is pretty sturdy and well put together. Just wanted to share a few details that weren’t in the listing. First off, it has pre-drilled holes on both sides, even though the pictures make it seem like there's only one. Also, I wondered if you could cut holes in the back for pass-throughs, but it turns out the back is a solid piece, definitely not flimsy cardboard. You could cut through it if needed, but you'd want a hole saw—don’t expect a jigsaw or Dremel to do the job. Lastly, make sure to measure your receiver from the back to the front. I have a Harman Kardon 670, and while the specs say it'll fit, the knobs and wires add a couple of inches. For me, it’s fine since I prefer to see the components, but it might cause issues for others. Overall, this unit feels way nicer than most furniture I see around here, and it’s worth the price.

Great addition to my home
I was a bit unsure about this because of some negative feedback, but I'm really happy I went for it! This piece is solid and heavy. Anyone saying it's not sturdy might have had trouble assembling it because mine feels rock solid. My husband and I lifted it using the holes at the back and the lid, and it didn’t budge at all. Since it’s quite heavy, it was tough to move from the front porch alone. I'm a smaller person and I took about an hour and a half to get it all set up without needing power tools—just a Phillips screwdriver. Everything you need is included. The instructions were simple, with good diagrams and written steps. I managed to put it together solo, though there's one part where a second set of hands would be handy, but you can handle it alone if you're careful. The wood looks and feels solid, so even if it's veneered, it doesn’t come off that way. The right side has extra storage for records if you want to stack the shelves close together. There are cord holes on the back, one for the record player and another on the other side. My Audio Technica fits with a little extra room, but a suitcase player might be too big. I can fit about 50 records in there, with space to grow, and I love that they’ll stay dust-free when the doors are shut. If you're after a classy cabinet for your record player, this is it! This cabinet feels just as nice as my buffet from the furniture store. A+ from me!

Great stereo console - thoughtful design
I'm really impressed with the design and quality of this stereo console. It comes with a lot of pieces and hardware, but the instructions were straightforward, and I managed to put it together by myself. I did find it helpful to have someone assist me when attaching the right top panel over the turntable since it needed an extra hand to hold it while I secured it with the screws. After a few tries, I got it done. I like that the back panel is made of wood instead of cardboard, and I appreciated the holes on each side for cables (though I didn't see the one on the right for the turntable in the specs I checked before buying). My only concern is with the left outer door panel installation—there are pins on top that need to be adjusted to hold the door, which can be tricky. I managed the left one, but the inner sliding door blocked the right pin, making it hard to slide it up. It would be better if the pins had springs for easier handling. I was also missing one screw during assembly, but thankfully there was extra hardware included. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and made sure to measure my equipment to confirm it would fit.

Really nice piece of furniture
I was hesitant to buy this because of a few bad reviews but I am very glad I bought it anyways! It turned out to be a quality piece of furniture (heavy too). I think that anyone who complains of this not being sturdy had issues with putting it together because mine is rock solid. My husband and I lifted it by the two holes on the back and the lid and had zero sense that anything was coming loose. Because it is so heavy, it was a little difficult to get in from the front porch by myself. It took me, a small and relatively handy gal, and hour and a half start to finish to assemble this. You don’t need any power tools- just a Phillips screwdriver. Any other tools you need are included. The instructions were very clear and include both diagrams and written directions. I put the whole thing together by myself but there is one small part where it could be helpful to have an extra set of hands, but if you are able-bodied and careful, you can do it without help. The wood does feel like and look like solid wood, so if it is a veneered compressed board, it doesn’t feel like it. The right side of the cabinet does have addition storage for records if you choose to have both shelves close together at the top. There are two holes for cords on the back- one in the record player side and one on the other half. I have an Audio Technica record player and it fit with some wiggle room. If you have one of those suitcase players it probably wouldn’t fit. I have around 50 records and have room for my collection to grow. I love that they will be able to be stored free from dust when the cabinet doors are closed. If you are looking for a really nice cupboard for your record player, this is it. I can see myself having this cabinet for a very long time. It is just as nice as my buffet table that I bought from a furniture store. A+!

This is a quality piece of furniture; it looks great and seems to be durably constructed
I am very pleased with how this piece looks. Also, I am very pleased with the quality of the wood. It's heavy enough to have a substantial feel that cheap furniture lacks. I like the functionality with one criticism. The good parts are the hinged lid has a nice action and means my turntable is protected when not in use... And when in use. The area underneath has good smart and useful dividers. And the left side has moveable shelves which can accommodate accessories... Or I might even turn it into a liquor cabinet. My criticism is this: The space for the turntable is tight. Mine fit, but you can see in the photos that my power and rca cords are squeezed very tight and barely fit. Also, if your turntable has a plastic cover that hinges open, you almost certainly wont be able to leave it on. So, I'd recommend you measure your turntable and make sure it will fit. I also had one blemish on the console which is unfortunately right on the front of the hinged lid. Not a huge deal to me... I will fill it with some color and call it good. Overall I would give it a 9/10, losing one point for the tight space for the turntable. I'm really pleased otherwise.
