Nice Desk
This is a nice desk, I put it together myself. I did break the decorative piece of wood on one of the drawers; just don’t be hard on equipment like I am when putting together. Now that I’m using it, it’s great. Fits in my spot perfectly. Good value, looks really good. I changed the knobs to match my other furniture

Overall, i love it, however, i didnt realize i needed a drawer in front, to put the keyboard on it until now. It is sturdy, and works great, surprisingly easier to build than an ikea, lol... At least the instructions were semi easier w all the pictures to help guide, (i hate reading instructions)

I Like It! It came in a thousand pieces, at least I felt like it did, but it was easy to put together. The Instructions say you need 2 people, and you do... Mainly to put the hutch on top of the desk and... To keep the worker bee company. Anyway... It was mainly done by my husband. I just helped to tighten some of the screws when his huge hands got tired.. And.. I helped to put together "a" drawer. Oh yeah, I separated and organized the thousands of pieces. Whew, hard worker here! I'm pleased with it. It's sturdy, easy to put together with the instructions provided, and there is ample storage. I would recommend it. When I saw all the pieces, I thought it was going to be a nightmare. Ladies, if your mate would rather be watching a bunch of screaming toddlers than furniture assembly, this is the piece of furniture that could get him/her on board! Fret not... If you follow the instructions carefully... And that's a strong carefully, it can be done... Without incident. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Exceeds expectations for the price!
Excellent product and Hawkins Woodshop. My desk arrived ahead of schedule. The box had some damage and the desk itself had minor damage to the top. It's cosmetic only and I still assembled the desk. I contacted Hawkins Woodshop and sent pictures of the damage. They responded quickly and provided me with an acceptable discount. The desk is a quite the process to assemble! The directions are images only, so if you're not good at deciphering schematic type drawings, get help or lookdor a different desk. Everything lined up perfect and it had more than enough hardware. It does only come it a Allen wrench/Phillips head screw driver combo tool. While it works, using an actual screw driver and square driver is recommended. Each piece is labeled with a number. All the holes are precision cut. The hardest part to assemble was the drawers bc of the slides. It took a minute to figure out which way they went. The power strip works. The space where you sit is nice and wide. The top of the desk is like a Formica, so you have a hard surface to write on. Overall, a great solid piece of furniture!
