Durable and Practical
A few months ago, I realized it was time for some new cutting boards. It took me a while to choose since there are so many options out there. I was drawn to this model, especially because of the stand. What I love about it, beyond the classic quality of the cutting board, is that it's made with layers of cross grain boards. I use the stand all the time; it looks nice sitting off to the side on my counter. After using it, I just rinse it off, wipe it dry, and it fits perfectly in the stand to air dry. Plus, since it comes in a set of three, I can easily grab the large one for bigger cuts or the small one for quick tasks.

Cutting Boards Look Awesome (Updated After 3 Months)
Just got my cutting boards today and took a good look at each one. I didn't find any flaws in the joints, the surfaces are clean with no nicks, and the edges are smooth without any rough spots. They fit perfectly in my kitchen, and the handles make it easy to lift them up. The biggest one will be great for carving my Thanksgiving turkey, the medium one has replaced my old plastic board, and the smallest is perfect for quick cuts on a burger or hoagie. They're all thick enough to stay put while chopping and not too heavy. I've only just received them, so I can't say much about how they'll hold up over time, but they seem sturdy and well-made. Getting three end grain boards for $55 feels like a steal. I'll update in a year if anything happens. 3 Month Update: I've been using all three boards almost every day, with the XL one getting used maybe twice weekly. No issues at all after three months. I've oiled them twice since the initial coating, and I'm going to oil them again today. In short, I put on oil before the first use and then monthly after that. They still look, and I need to look closely to see even minor knife marks. No regrets about this purchase!
