Extra Large Cotton Rope Storage Basket with Handles, 22 x 14 in.

Storage that has to live out in the open is a different problem from storage that hides in a closet. This one is woven from sturdy coiled cotton rope, tight enough to hold its shape and soft enough in texture that it looks like part of the room rather than a bin you tolerate. At 22 by 14 inches it is genuinely large, which is the entire point. Small baskets look tidy on day one and overflow by the end of the week.

Handles are built right in, so a full basket gets carried in one trip instead of dragged across the floor. That matters most for the things people actually put in these: blankets, pillows, clothes, toys, bedding, laundry supplies, books. The tight weave keeps all of it securely inside rather than letting the corner of a quilt work its way out the side.

Cotton was the right call over plastic. It holds up better over time with regular handling, and it will not melt or release toxic substances, which is why a basket like this is a practical choice for a child's room as well as a living area.

One note on unpacking. It may arrive with creases from the packaging, and they do come out. Smooth them by hand, then fill the basket with pillows and leave it a few days, or ease the creases out with an iron. Either way it returns to its original shape.
