I got this large dog bed for my old Labrador who kept squeezing into a much smaller one meant for another dog. It arrives vacuum packed, so give it a day to fully fluff up. Once I opened it up, I started putting the covers on, and it was really easy to do—just make sure to pay attention to how you place the cushions. There wasn't any noticeable odor when I unpacked it. It looks nice in my office, and my dog seems to love it, as he spends most of the day trying out different sleeping positions on it. He doesn’t mess with it at all, and it seems durable; it’s holding up great with him lounging on it all the time. Just a heads up, if your dog tends to chew, you might want to look for a different option.
