Great crate for my pup!
I have to say, this crate really blew my mind! It's cute, sturdy, and easy to clean. My 8-month-old German shepherd mix fits in it perfectly and has room to grow. Just a heads up, if your puppy tends to have accidents, it can leak through the cracks a bit and get on the floor underneath. So, lifting it to clean might be a little tricky since it’s not light. But everything else is great! The latch is nice, but if you have a clever dog, just make sure you push it down all the way, or they might figure out how to open it. Thankfully, my dog has not been able to chew through it like he did with his old wire crate! Overall, I’m happy with this crate! 10/10!

Great crate for my GSD
I bought this for my 4-month-old GSD since she quickly outgrew the regular 30" size. The XL gives her plenty of space and she'll be able to turn around comfortably when she's fully grown. I do recommend keeping her in a smaller crate until she's completely potty trained, as having too much space might lead to accidents. The latch seems okay, but I plan to either reinforce it or replace it as she gets bigger. It doesn't have a cheap look, and I really like the storage option on top for her stuff. It's a solid choice compared to those old black metal crates. Just a heads up, she might have to duck a bit when she's fully grown, so consider going XXL or larger if your dog is tall. I can't comment on the durability since she’s crate-trained and hasn't tried to destroy it or anything. It took me about an hour to assemble, and it’s not the easiest to move around. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.

Very sturdy
I bought this along with the corner crate for my smaller dog. My big dog weighs around 80lbs and is pretty lengthy, and he fits nicely in this one. He used to be in a 42” wire crate. My little girl is about 48lbs and a bit more compact, so she’s doing great in the corner style, which was perfect for her since she was in a 30” wire crate before. These crates are sturdy, but that does make them a bit heavy. I managed to put them together and move them myself. In the photo, you can see that I assembled the corner one on top of a kitchen mat so I could drag it to where I wanted it, then flipped it over since it needs to be put together upside down. The rectangle one is a lot easier to put together and move around. Make sure to wipe down all the pieces with a wet cloth before assembly to get rid of any dust and styrofoam. It’s easy to clean. My dogs don’t tend to be destructive in their crates, but if you have a pup that is, this is tougher than a wire crate. My only issue is with the latch; I would’ve liked a regular crate latch instead or something different, but that’s just my preference. Overall, it’s worth the investment for something that looks nice in the living room while being functional. Just hope I never have to move or take it apart!

Spacious and well-built dog crate
Overall, I'm really happy with this crate once it was put together, but it took quite a while—over an hour! I recommend having someone to help with the assembly. Unfortunately, it arrived with some damage and missing parts; there was a huge hole in the box from shipping. I contacted Colby, and they quickly sent me a whole new crate while telling me to keep the damaged one. I ended up giving that one away, and my friend managed to fix it using some spare hardware. The replacement arrived in condition, and I'm pleased with it. It feels sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight on top. My dog is thrilled to have all the extra room; as soon as I swapped out his small kennel, he was zooming around the house with excitement. So, I give 10/10 for customer service and a solid product. Just a heads up, it’s made of particle board, but the way it all goes together makes it feel quite sturdy, which was my main concern.
