Putting this desk together by myself was a bit tricky, but it was worth it! There are a lot of little screws, and the top is heavy, but all the holes lined up perfectly, and the instructions were clear. It's sturdy, doesn’t scratch easily, and stays clean. I just use a microfiber cloth with water or Lysol, and it still looks shiny after a year—no fancy cleaners needed. I had it in my studio apartment, and I loved that it was wide enough to use as a table for me and a guest. The shelf underneath is great for storing notebooks, sticky notes, camera stands, and other stuff—plenty of room for it all. This was just what we needed! We’ve got it set up in the family room as a drop zone and a desk for homework and bills. There’s enough space for two people to work comfortably. I love the hidden shelf beneath the flat surface; it’s perfect for our baskets of supplies. Once we’re done, we can just toss everything into the baskets and keep the space neat. As for putting it together, it was pretty straightforward, but be careful with the screws! We mixed them up a bit and ended up with one poking through the veneer. We painted the spot black, but don't make the same mistake we did. The adjustable feet are handy for keeping it steady, and having two people to assemble it made things quicker. Just a heads up, the table is a bit lower than our kitchen counter, so you might want to consider that when choosing chairs. Overall, it's a solid pick and helps keep things organized!

It was a little challenging to put together by myself but so worth it! Lots of little screws and the top is heavy but all the holes were exactly where they should be and the instructions were easy to follow. The desk is sturdy, does not scratch easily and it's easy to keep clean. The glass like surface wipes clean of dust with a microfiber rag without catching on anything. Even after a year of use, it stayed shiny without any special products. I only ever used lysol or water to wipe it down. This desk was in my studio apartment so I liked that it was extra wide as it doubled for a table and I could have a guest sitting next to me. The little shelf underneath was perfect for storing extra notebooks, sticky notes, camera stands, and vases. A wide variety of objects can fit on that shelf. It doesn't make any kind of noise when you shake it or lean on it. I live in Florida so, its very humid but I never saw any signs of rust. I would definitely buy again should I need another desk in the future!
