Nice dresser, heavier than expected
Nice sturdy dresser that went well with the other furniture. It is not big but it was the size we needed for a spot between 2 windows. It is heavier and nicer than ikea quality in my opinion

So far I have assembled the vanity and this dresser. First of all, I do love the color. I kind of hate the grey trend but the way the grain print is on this it looks very nice. It’s not toooo grey in my opinion, and it’s also not too brown. It has a nice middle ground look to that “rustic” color. For the record, I wanted the white antique color but then did not have the king bed in stock at the time I ordered. Nonetheless, unlike the vanity, the dresser was pretty straight forward to assemble. It did take some time, but I was able to successfully assemble it one night in about 2.5hrs by myself. I was taking my time and took a few little breaks though. Like some others have said, pay close attention to the directions. The section where you slide the sides and back together… I totally missed the #5 parts. That image is kind of jumbled with a lot going on so it wasn’t until the end that I realized o had two extra pieces haha. More on that later…I actually encourage a drill. Typically these products say no power tools, but I put my drill in the lowest setting to ensure no over tightening and it was a godsend. It saved me so much time and discomfort from cranking a screw driver over and over. You will need to supply your own screwdriver though so keep that in mind if you don’t use a drill. I was grateful in that I had no broken parts. Everything was the correct color and no damage was found. I’ve seen a few reviews of mixed colored parts or damage. These boxes are heavy so I can imagine a lot can happen during transit. Speaking of transit, my furniture was delivered via FedEx so tracking is a little off until the day of. And if you ordered multiple furniture pieces, Hawkins Woodshop and Fedex I guess can’t differentiate between pieces so when my bed got delivered it was marked that all 3 pieces got delivered together (bedside tables, dresser and bed). Took me a couple of days to realize the 4 boxes I received were all the bed boxes. I got that within about 3 days of ordering which was about a week and half sooner than expected. The dresser came in a week earlier than expected also, but it had a later estimated delivery date. Either way I got it in about a week and a half. I’m still waiting on the bedside tables. Try to make sure you have FedEx notices set up to text you before you order. It came in very handy for my deliveries as they both were coming on rainy days. Have a dolly and some helpers. The only issue I had with the dresser was the top drawer would not fit on the left side. It was getting caught on the top platform. I tried all of the drawers and they all did the same thing. They all measured the same as well so it was a manufacturing flaw in how my pieces fit somewhere along the line. My solution to that was the adjust the slide rail on the side a little lower. I had to create a drill hole vs use the pre-stamped holes it had. Thankfully the slide rail had all the extra holes in it. The minor adjustment down did not affect the drawer function at all. My attached video shows it post-fixing. It runs a tiny bit but not bad. There are some spacing issues which I will show photos. Are they detrimental? No. But just for the purpose of the review I wanted to point them out. This is also where I saw how I could add the #5 pieces. I loosened the parts to lift the top off so that the dresser could open a little side to side. I got the 5s in and tightened them up then replaced the top. Size-wise, it is a little smaller than expected as some have stated. Obviously measuring helps but visually it is not large. It comes up to my chest and I’m 5’6. The drawers are not very deep so keep that in mind. It’s like a small chest of drawers vs a tall one with big deep drawers. Its price is not terrible, but I think it could be a little cheaper. It’s like 1/3 of the price of the bed I ordered which is wild to me. My matching corner vanity got a $50 off coupon for like half a day so I snagged it. I waited over a week for these other pieces to get a coupon but they didn’t so I paid full price. Being small is not the bad part really because my bed will have storage, and we will store out of season clothes under the bed. Our room is small so it’s ok. Just making others aware. I could possibly use another one, and depending on the layout once my room remodel is done, I might do that when catch it on sale. Overall I do really really like it. The adjustable feet are great for our uneven floors and the finish look is so quaint and classy against our Behr Dusty Olive walls. A few little flaws that were easily fixable and mostly unnoticeable. It may not be a lifelong piece but it’ll be perfect for our space!

Works for small bedroom
More like a 4.5 review. Furniture is a good size and everything arrived in good condition. I was worried it would be too short, like some reviews said. I'm 5'4" and it is a good height for me. The dresser is thin so the drawers are a bit shallow and don't hold much. Definitely not for your whole wardrobe. Easy but intensive to put together. My arms and wrists were tired. Some of the screws required extra effort and sometime screw in slightly crooked. Doesn't seem to effect the final product though. Instructions were fairly clear. Took about 5-6 hours to put together, but I had a dog (not) helping me.
