You get what you pay for
I bought this because it looked like the type of dresser I wanted and all the reviews were saying good quality. While it's not the worst quality, it's not anything special. The base of the drawers is really thin, and the walls of the drawers are a bit more than half the size of the wall where the handle is. Basically, you would think the drawers are bigger just by looking at the outside, but they're smaller. Assembly time was probably close to 5 hours by myself, but if I had another person helping it could probably be done in 1-2 hours. It's pretty sturdy once complete, but each individual piece is not. I chipped off quite a bit of some pieces while trying to drill some screws. The back of the cabinet is a flimsy three-piece board attached with tape. The drawers slide nicely, though they feel like they could be easily broken with enough weight. The bags of screws and other equipment came with extra pieces in case you lose some, which is great. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied, but I probably could have afforded to pay more for a better quality dresser. I recommend if you're looking for a cheap dresser that isn't completely terrible quality.

Farmhouse Black Dresser - 5 Draws
I purchased & shipped this dresser to my disabled Vet brother for his new appartment. It was a hit! He had a full house of furniture in a paid nyc storage unit but it had been raided by whomever. He lost most everything & needed a dresser, bed, nite stands, lighting, towels, bath accessories, kitchen appliance, etc. So, I went shopping & Hawkins Woodshop delivered. The only drawback was not having a reputable handy service link like the big retailer to assemble it. This is a tall chest of draws with 5 draws. He has the use of 1 hand & 1 leg. So, he has difficulty bending. The hardware must be sturdy enough for him to open the draws. This is the perfect dresser because it has tilt protection hardware & stabilizers. So, even if all the draws are loaded & open, it won't fall on him. The draws are equipped with slide bars so they won't accidentally slid out & fall on him, as well. Also, the look is easy to match with the other pieces I found on Hawkins Woodshop. Good thing he chose black. I think the real charm is the farmhouse look & texture. It adds elegance. I haven't seen all the pieces but he is delighted & proud to invite guests to his new bachelor pad. He has a new attitude & boost of confidence.
