Stunning Bed!!
It arrived pretty quickly and was in perfect shape. I noticed the instructions missed a step regarding how to attach piece number 22, or maybe I just overlooked it after going through the instructions a couple of times. We figured it out after putting it on incorrectly and having to redo it. Once it's all set up, it's sturdy. This is a replacement for a wooden frame bed I had for less than two years that broke in a few spots, so I learned my lesson. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

You have to put this together, but if you follow the steps, you won’t run into any issues. The bed is solid, looks great, and has no scratches. It doesn’t squeak at all, plus there’s a lot of storage! The mattress fits well, but there aren’t any edges to hold it in place. I'm curious to see how the drawers work on the carpet once they're filled. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase!

I'm really happy with this bed. It looks great and the quality is pretty good overall. My only slight concern is that the top board on the headboard could be thicker; it feels a bit flimsy but it still holds decorations well. Just be careful when moving it around. The instructions for assembly were also, which made the setup much easier!

Assembling Takes Time, But Worth It
I really like this bed for the price I paid, a couple hundred bucks. Just be prepared to spend a whole day putting it together—it's quite the project! The materials are a bit on the cheaper side, with MDF and a sticker finish, but it should look nice for a while. The headboard is actually pretty decent, although you won't want to put too much weight on it. It has a metal frame on both sides of the mattress that connects to a solid metal base. Just watch out, the footboard sticks out a bit, so you might bump your shins if you get too close. The drawers are made of wire and ride on four flimsy wheels, so be cautious during assembly as they can break easily—I've had two break myself, but it's not a huge issue. Just keep in mind, those drawers aren't meant for everyday use; better for stuff you don't need often. If you like to read in bed, consider getting a clip-on light.

Very nice bed, excellent customer service
My daughter decided she wanted to revamp her room and get a larger sized bed. I was a little skeptical about ordering something so large from Hawkins Woodshop but it arrived on time and as described. It did take a lot of assembly but the instructions were easy to follow. As I neared the end of the instructions, I had a problem. There was a part that was misabeled and would not fit in its intended location. I sent an email to the companies customer service line and got a quick response asking for some information regarding the assembly problem. I provided the pics of the problem and the info they asked me for and they shipped me the piece I needed quickly. (In the meantime, my husband was able redrill the wrong part that was originally sent and made it work until the new part arrived.) Overall, my daughter loves the new bed. The quality was comparable to ikea items we have purchased before. I loved the immediate help from their customer service when I had a problem. Word to the wise: the wooden corners on the top of the footboard are sort of sharp. My daughter scratched her leg on it right after we got it assembled. I bought some clear corner protectors and the solved the problem.

Great bed
Very nice bed. It took 4 of us 6.5 hours to put it together. Bought it for my 15 year old daughters birthday and she loves it. One of the drawers didn't align just right but not a huge deal breaker. All in all sturdy, nice bed. I do agree with some other reviews the bed can shift as there isn't anything holding it in place but soo far we haven't had that problem.

Just read instructions and take your time
Honestly, for its price, I’m not sure you’ll find a much better bed. Actually quite easy to put together if you follow the instructions and separate the pieces. One of the pictures and corresponding numbers were mixed up but with a tad bit of common sense you could figure it out. We chose not to use the led strip, but all of the holes lined up perfectly, all the hardware was great and after building we had to move it a little and it was incredibly structurally sound. Haven’t installed the drawers yet but I would buy this 100 times over if I could
