After assembly and replacement of one damaged component, the bed is exactly what I was hoping for. It feels sturdy, looks great, and fits perfectly in the room. The materials and overall construction met my expectations, and I’m very pleased with the finished product. Bed was as advertised. Sturdy and easy to put together but you will definitely need another person to help and a drill. Box came damaged and there was some small damage to a part of the footboard.

Sizing! It barely is off of the ground.
It’s absolutely beautiful, & has great quality. It is easy to put together if you follow the instruction guide. It took about 3 hours with 2 people, 2 boxes arrived the same day. The one thing I am not a fan of is its size: basically how low it is to the ground. I should have looked at measurements prior to buying. Other than that I recommend.

This is a high quality bed: It is heavy and beautiful. The assembly involves multiple steps, but the instructions and accompanying diagrams make the process fairly easy. I highly recommend this product.*The bed arrived in (2) separate orders on (2) separate days. The hardware and instructions were in the second shipment. The first box weighed 100 pounds and the second one weighed 40, so be prepared for that.

Affordable and beautiful furniture
I needed guest bedroom furniture without having to spend thousands on it. This made the perfect setup for both of my spare rooms. The second bed frame was missing a part that assembled the footboard. I messaged Hawkins Woodshop, and they quickly sent the missing piece along with extra parts. The packaging was very well done, and you could tell they went above and beyond to make sure the furniture would not get damaged during shipping. It was all very easy to put together with the picture instructions. I was able to assemble it all with no other help. Very pleased with this purchase and just in time for out of state guests coming.
