We love it!!
We got this bed for the guest room in our vacation condo, replacing an old frame and mattress set. I had my eye on this one for a while and grabbed it when it went on sale. The bed showed up in two boxes and everything looked great—no damage to the boxes at all. I was impressed by how everything was packed. Unpacking took me about 45 minutes, being careful with the styrofoam so it wouldn’t get everywhere, but it was manageable. There were fewer parts than I expected, and they were all clearly labeled, which made it easy to get organized in my living room. I managed to put together about 95% of the bed myself in roughly 3 hours. My dog kept a close eye on me to ensure I was doing it right! The instructions were super clear, and there’s also a helpful video showing the whole assembly process. I thought I’d need my wife to help with the last steps, so I moved everything into the guest room and waited. But once she was there the next day, it only took us about an hour to finish. Honestly, I could have done it on my own, but her help made it easier. The finished bed looks! It’s a great height, and since we kept the box springs, it’s even taller. The wood tone and details are just. Now we just need some guests to come stay!

Great Value for Quality Furniture
We initially aimed to buy a $7000 bed from Value City, but they messed up our order, and now they're going out of business. Then we ordered a $4000 set from Bob's Furniture, but that arrived damaged three times, and they didn't help us at all. So, we turned to Hawkins Woodshop. Although we had to buy everything separately and assemble it all, it was definitely worth it. In the end, we only spent $1400 and got a bed frame, 2 nightstands, 2 lamps, a dresser, and a chest. Everything feels sturdy and looks great. I'm thrilled with how the room turned out; it fits perfectly in our home. Just a heads up, my husband did take about 3 days to put everything together, and he was pretty done with it by the end.

I got this bed and it’s pretty nice for the price. It was easy to put together, kind of like an Ikea thing. The materials feel a bit cheap, but honestly, if you’re not jumping on it or being rough, I think it’ll hold up just fine.

Sturdy and worth every penny, which is rare!
I’m thrilled with my purchase! Having assembled tons of furniture over the years, I can tell when a piece is worth it. I know nothing beats real wood, but this is surprisingly solid for not being solid wood. I was worried I was spending a lot on something that wouldn’t hold up, especially since it’s for a guest room that won't see much use. But it's really nice quality. It doesn’t scratch easily and looks adorable! I believe this will last quite a while, and I got good value for what I paid. Putting it together gave me a great sense of the quality—everything lined up perfectly, and the instructions were clear. It takes time, but that's just because there are lots of pieces. This is a good thing since it shows how sturdy it is. Each bigger part had a bunch of smaller parts which made it feel even more substantial when finished. The color and finish look just like the pictures. Plus, Hawkins Woodshop shipped it out right away. Recommend; you won't regret it! I’ll share a pic as soon as I get some pillows. Honestly, I think this looks better than my own bedroom right now!

We love it!!
We purchased this bed for the guest room in our vacation condo. We already had a frame and mattress, but wanted something nicer. This bed had been on my wishlist for a while, so when it went on sale, I couldn’t resist. The delivery from Hawkins Woodshop was prompt, and it came in two boxes that were in perfect shape—no damage at all. When I opened them, I was impressed by how everything was packed. I had to be a bit cautious with the styrofoam to avoid a mess, but it wasn't hard. Unpacking took me about 45 minutes! I’ve included a photo of all the packing materials. The parts were clearly labeled, and even with the two large boxes, there were fewer pieces than I anticipated. I was able to organize them in my living room to start the assembly. I managed to do about 95% of the setup by myself in roughly three hours (not counting unpacking), while my dog supervised. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and there’s a helpful assembly video on the site that shows how straightforward it is. Since my wife wasn't around, I moved everything into the guest room to finish the next day just in case I needed her help. I thought it would take about an hour to finish. The following day, we put it all together in about an hour. Honestly, I could have completed those last steps on my own, but having her there was helpful. The finished bed looks! It's a great height, especially since we kept the box springs too, so it’s even taller. The wood color is beautiful, the details are nice, and overall, I couldn't be happier with this bed! Now we just need some guests to come stay.

Totally Worth It
We were initially set on buying a $7000 bed from Value City, but after a lot of order issues and them going out of business, we looked for alternatives. We tried Bob's Furniture, but their $4000 bed set came in multiple damaged deliveries, and they didn't seem to care at all. Frustrated, we turned to Hawkins Woodshop. Even though we had to buy everything separately and assemble it all ourselves, it was a great decision. We ended up spending only $1400 and got a bed frame, 2 nightstands, 2 lamps, a dresser, and a chest. Everything feels sturdy and looks great together. I was really happy with how nicely the room turned out, and this set fits perfectly in our home. Plus, the shipping was quick! Just a heads up, my husband took about 3 days to put everything together, and by the end, he was ready for a break.
