Definitely recommend
This bed has been fantastic! It took my husband a while to put it together, but since we got it in April, we've had no issues at all. My little ones jump on it nonstop, going from one bed to the other. I used to have a pricey solid wood set, and the kids managed to break those wooden slats. Not sure if it was the bed or the mattress causing it, but this one holds up great. Speaking of the mattress, I got it from Hawkins Woodshop too, and it pairs perfectly with the bed. No need for a box spring, and the height is just right.

This bed is really nice. My husband took a bit to put it together, but it’s been solid since we got it a couple months ago. We have little ones who love to jump around on it, and it's held up well. I used to have a fancy solid wood set that fell apart when they jumped. Not sure if it was the bed or the mattress that caused the issues, but I paired this bed with a mattress from Hawkins Woodshop, and it works perfectly together—no need for a box spring, and the height is just right.

This bed is great. It took a long time for my husband to build it but overall it’s been here since around April we are in June now haven’t had any problems. I have toddlers who jump all day and night on it from one bed to another and I had an expensive bedroom set from real solid wood and they broke the wood bars on the bottom from jumping. Although unsure if it was the bed or mattress itself. The mattress I have on this bed is also from Hawkins Woodshop and I highly recommend it because it goes great with this bed you don’t need a box spring at all and its height is wonderful.
