Looks great once you get it squared up
I really like this sideboard! That said, when my husband assembled it, it came out a bit off. The gaps between the doors weren't even on both sides, so he ended up taking it apart, grabbing some L-brackets to square it up, and reassembling the whole thing. He also had to re-drill a couple of screw holes since they didn't line up right. Once he got it sorted, it looks. Knocked off a star because it took more work to get it level than I expected, but it's a solid piece.

This piece looks beautiful! I really appreciate its height—most buffets and sideboards are a bit too short, but this one is actually practical. It takes two people to put together, but it wasn't too complicated to assemble. However, I wouldn't recommend reaching out to Colby if you run into any problems. I found a few dents and chipped paint on the piece from shipping, and even though I contacted him about replacements, promises were made but nothing ever came through.

Beautiful piece. I love the height on it - so many other buffets/sideboards are so short! This is actually a usable height. Definitely takes two people to assemble, but overall pretty quick and simple. Do not recommend Hawkins Woodshop if you have any issues, however. A few small spots on this piece were already dented (particleboard, not real wood) and had chipped paint, damaged during shipping, and when I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop to see if anything could be done, they kept promising to follow through and send replacement pieces but never did.

Buffet holds a good amount of items and shelving is adjustable. Buffet is even prettier in person and is heavy. It comes with the hardware to mount to wall for stability if needed. I put a board in wrong spot and needed to switch it. Buffet was almost complete except for top. I followed instructions in reverse and all went smoothly. I highly recommend this furniture.
