Held nearly 100lbs of monitor mount + 4 monitors without a single wobble.
I bought this desk specifically because I needed a 1" thick tabletop to support a wali quad monitor mount, four 27" asus tuf gaming monitors, and my own paranoia about watching $1,200 worth of screens tip over. Let's do the math nobody else in these reviews is doing. The mount alone is 38.9 lbs of steel. Four monitors at 15.2 lbs each is another 61 lbs. That's just under 100 lbs sitting on one corner of this desk, and the frame is rated for 220 lbs total, so on paper it should work. On paper is not the same as in your office. First time I raised the desk to standing height with everything mounted, I fully expected one of three outcomes: the monitors sway like a carnival ride, something looks structurally sketchy, or my expensive gaming setup becomes a very expensive floor setup. None of that happened. It went up smooth, dead level, zero flex anywhere in the frame or the tabletop. That thick 1" top is doing real work here, it's not just for looks. Now the part nobody sugarcoats for you: assembly is not a breeze. There's a cross support bar that's supposed to screw directly into the underside of the tabletop, except there are no pre-drilled holes for it. So you're stuck choosing between drilling into a brand new desk and risking blowing through the top, or just cranking those screws in raw and praying. I went with praying. It worked, but it's not a five minute job and it's not for someone who wants a plug and play experience. Also, heads up, once it's fully built you have to flip the entire thing upright onto its feet by yourself per the instructions, and this desk is not light. I bench 235 lbs and I still felt this thing fighting me on the flip. If you've got a second person around, use them. But once it's up and wired in, this is genuinely one of the sturdiest desks I've used. The motors are strong and quiet, height adjustment is smooth, and it does not care that I'm asking it to hold a small steel monitor arm farm. If you're building a heavy multi monitor setup and you're nervous about desk stability like I was, this held up to a real stress test.4 out of 5 stars. I love this desk. It’s pricy but worth it to me. Ignoring my weird setup right now as I wait for my tv stand to come in. This desk clearly has tons of room. I did go for the largest option with two legs, it’s very sturdy. I can sit on it and still raise it up and down (not that you’d need to or should have human weight on a regular desk all the time). You can switch the side the L is on, amazing function in my opinion for being able to customize your space how you need. It looks clean, however the cables underneath do annoy me. I thought it had a cable management tray and it does not. The only downside I’ve really had is how easily the top gets dirty and visibly smudged. My cats paw prints can be seen on it often but it’s easily cleaned with a Clorox wipe. I’ve had no issues with scratches on it either. This desk is very heavy. It’s best to have two people for set up. Especially when you need to flip it upright after setting up. Only took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. There are tons of extra holes on the bottom so multiple of their frames should fit the desktop. It was confusing at first but works just fine once you line it up and start going.
