Great features, but a bit heavy
I spent quite a bit of time looking for height adjustable tables and finally found the FLEXISPOT EW8Q8. It has some nice features that convinced me to buy it. First off, the leg tubes are designed with a larger diameter at the bottom, which really helps with stability. I also love the smooth oval shape compared to the usual rectangular ones. Another plus is the solid one-piece tabletop. The price was pretty good after the discount too. I did see some reviews mentioning motor noise, but that's not an issue for me since it only happens briefly when changing heights. I did notice a small dent on the bottom of the bamboo top, but it's nothing major. My only hesitation was when I noticed the cable management requires mounting two pieces of steel directly into the bamboo; I'm not sure if that will hold well. One thing to keep in mind is the final weight—it's around 108 lbs, which is heavier than I expected!

Most desks out there get around 4.5 stars, but this one absolutely deserves a full five! The materials are top-notch, and the heavy-duty steel frame feels solid. It does come in several pieces like any desk, but everything is clearly labeled, and the instructions were easy to follow. You will need two people to put it together, but honestly, if I had to do it again, I think I could manage it solo. Just a heads up on the motor instructions—when they say not to turn the rod more than 60 degrees, they're serious! After putting the rod into the legs, if you turn it while trying to fit the other side into the motor, it will also adjust those legs up or down. We didn't realize that at first and could've ended up with uneven legs. So keep an eye on that while assembling. I'm impressed with the drawers, too—most desks have shallow ones, but these are nice and deep for organizing pens and clips. The motor runs quietly, and the desk moves up and down smoothly. I haven’t had it long, but I’m excited for years of use ahead! I highly recommend it!
