Great headboard, hardware needs work
I'm giving five stars for the headboard itself since it's made of solid wood and looks great. However, I’m knocking down two stars because the hardware included wasn't up to par. I saw in other reviews that there might be some issues, so I ordered a separate headboard hardware kit. Even with the longer bolts I got, I still had to drill holes through the supports because the hardware didn’t quite fit my bed frame’s larger slots. I’d still buy this headboard again, but getting it set up was trickier than just tightening a few screws.

I appreciated the prior reviews that pointed out issues with the hardware. I ended up getting a separate hardware kit, and even with the longer bolts, I had to drill through the headboard supports because the pieces didn’t fit the bedframe's big slots. I would get this again, but putting it together wasn’t as simple as just tightening some screws.

Received my order packed nicely, so there were no issues with delivery. The real wood quality is impressive—definitely better than the cheap veneer stuff you see everywhere. I love that the height can be adjusted by 4 inches; I might even grab another one to use as a footboard. It comes with its own mounting hardware, but I used the hooks to attach it to my SleepNumber bed with their mounting system. All the holes line up perfectly.
