Worth every penny
I'm really happy with this bed! It looks great and is sturdy and comfy. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge by myself, but the instructions were easy enough to understand. The only problem I had was with the drawers; they needed a good shove to fit in, but once they were in, everything worked perfectly. Overall, it's a bed!

Solid! We love our new bed
Hours and weeks it took for me to pick a bed. After all those hours, I rolled the dice on this one when it only had 4 reviews, and I was nervous about that. I kept coming back to it after putting dozens of others in my cart. I felt it was risky. Luckily my gamble paid off. This isn’t some cheap piece of furniture that will fall apart. Nice quality. Decent price. The only info missing from the listing was the height under the bed for storage, so I’m going to start with that in case no one else has posted it. There is over 8” of clearance, much more than most I looked at, I could only guess based on measurements in the listing and I was pretty close, so my rolling under bed storage wooden bins are working great, I bought 4 four our king sized bed. Next. It showed up faster than I’d have expected. I couldn’t have carried the two boxes in by myself but luckily my son in law was here so he and my husband brought them in. Solid stuff, real wood, heavy, nice. I needed something to match my mid century blonde bedroom furniture so I ordered the natural. Excellent match. I bought some natural stain and polyurethane to give it a bit of a finish, but I am on the fence about doing it. Honestly it looks great the way it is. Assembly. A lot of work. Great directions. My husband said the most clear directions he’s ever worked with for something this big. No mistakes, the process went smoothly, but slow. I knew it would since I picked a unit with a bench and drawers etc. Not surprised. My husband on the other hand, was surprised. He didn’t start until 4pm, even though I cautioned him it would take 6+ hours. Well by 10:30 pm, I was tired, we were not done (I say we but honestly he did 95% without me) we put our mattress on the floor and called it a day. Started again the next day and got it done. I came in as support when it was time to put the slats on the bed. Warning: There are only 2 extra plastic pieces and if you mess one up and have to take it out, you’ll ruin the piece. Luckily there were the 2 backup pieces, we used them both. So be careful at this stage. We liked the design of the support, more than flat wooden slats. We finished and put the mattress on, tested it out and we were beyond happy with the solid structure, the non movement of the bed, the silence when moving around. Really shocked how bad our old one was after enjoying this one. I no longer wake my husband up from simply turning over in bed. Every night since we got it, my husband says “I love this bed” lol. He swears his back is in better condition. He loves that it’s doesn’t move when I do. We have an air number mattress and it works perfectly on it. The style of the bed keeps the mattress from shifting at all even though the mattress is light weight. The storage in the bench is great. I was able to get rid of my bin of supplements and hide it all in the bench. Nice for a cleaner look. I have tons of under bed storage too. Overall, this is one of our favorite purchases in a long time. I just don’t know why I put up with our old one so long (still had box springs), when this kind of quality cost us only 1 weekend. It’s heavy, so you don’t just move it around, but I don’t need to other than opening the curtains once winter is over (drafty windows) or if I get a new rug (likely soon). Pros: solid. Silent. Motionless. Under bed clearance. Precise directions. No missing parts. Pretty. Drawers close nicely, bench top opens solidly, stays open without holding. Sturdy enough to sit on or even stand on to change the ceiling light bulbs. Con: Takes some effort to build. Worth it. I don’t intend to replace it for a very long time. All pieces easily identified and constructed though so no complaints. Extra bonus: if I get new bedroom dressers, this bed is real wood so I can stain it or paint it another color for a whole new look. Honestly I’m surprised something this solid shipped so efficiently. Came earlier than expected and in time for us to build it over the weekend. Although that’s about all we did that weekend lol.5 stars, can’t find a single drawback. Just buy it.
