Great table!
The table looked okay at first, but there was a big warp in the wood that got worse when I raised it. I can’t recommend it because everyone who visits notices it. EDIT: Colby sent me a new tabletop, and it looks good now. The swap was easy. I changed the legs since they were too short for my sofa.

Decent service but not the best quality
I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop after a leg broke off the table less than six months after I got it. They got back to me quickly, mentioning a one-year warranty and offering either a replacement or a full refund, which I appreciated and got right away. However, the table itself doesn’t feel very sturdy; it looks decent, but when you see the inside—like flimsy cardboard—it makes you doubt how well it'll hold up. If you plan to put anything on it or move it around, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Small, Black & Perfect for a MCM Home
We just moved from a historic Victorian to a mid-century modern house, and our old furniture didn't really work anymore. I found this on Hawkins Woodshop, and while it's on the smaller side compared to our previous pieces, it fits this place perfectly. It was easy to assemble and offers a surprising amount of storage for a compact table, plus the top lifts up. I'm happy with the black finish, as it goes nicely with our built-ins.

Great table!
It looks ok, but there is a giant warp in the wood (the picture doesn't do it justice) that gets worse when the product is extended upwards on the right side. Can't say I can recommend it, everyone that comes over has seen it. Edit: Hawkins Woodshop sent me a replacement table top. The unit looks great now. No questions asked and the process was simple and easy. I did personally swap out the legs because they were too short but it depends on how tall your sofa is.

This table looks alright but is very poor quality and a little short. We are careful with our things and have no kids and we had a leg snap off less than 6 months after we ordered it. The inside of this “wood” can be seen in the video I attached and looks like cardboard and is aparently just as durable as cardboard. I’d say this is pretty low quality and not worth the money unless you don’t plan to ever put anything on it or move it.

Convertible coffee table with pop up top & storage
As advertised. Easy setup. Works beautifully with my daughter’s small L shaped convertible (to queen size sleeper sofa. Looks very nice and doubles as extra dining space for 2 in her smaller living space. Nice bit of extra storage as well. We just screwed the legs on the bottom and it was ready. No tools required.
