Very cute and elegant stool for my makeup desk.
I am notoriously bad at putting things together. Like… usually I just hand the box to my boyfriend and walk away. But I actually assembled this stool myself and I was ridiculously proud of myself for that. The instructions were straightforward, the pieces lined up well, and it didn’t feel overly complicated. If I can put it together on my own, that should tell you something. I’m going to use this as a makeup stool for the hair and makeup room I’m putting together, and the size is perfect for that. It feels sturdy, and I really like the simple wood look with the classy cream padded top. My only concern (and this is more of a “me” problem than a product problem) is my cats. If you have cats, you understand. I’m already mentally preparing to put some kind of furniture protector on the padded seat because we’ve learned the hard way what happens when we don’t protect things immediately. My office chair, recliner, couches, bed… basically everything we didn’t protect early on has battle scars. So before I even fully set this out, I’ll probably add a protective layer to the cushion. Slightly annoying? Yes. Better than having it shredded in a week? Also yes. Overall, I’m really happy with it — sturdy, cute, and beginner-assembly friendly. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

This vanity is beautiful and a great size. I love the mirror and all of the storage, but turning on the lights is annoying since you have to reach around the entire thing to turn them on. The box was delivered with two large gashes, but only one piece was slightly damaged and it does not affect the overall look. It seems pretty sturdy, which is expected since it took 6 hours to assemble by myself.
