Nightstands Review
I’m not too thrilled with these nightstands. I looked around a lot at different furniture stores but couldn’t find anything better, so I ended up going with these. They’re affordable but pretty wobbly, and putting them together wasn’t straightforward at all. The size is decent, but the drawers are smaller than I hoped, so they don't hold much. They do have a nice look to them, but they’re definitely not what I envisioned.

I bought a set of these nightstands, and while one of them arrived with missing parts, Hawkins Woodshop was super quick to send a replacement. It went together just as easily as the first one. They look in person, more upscale than I expected. You get a lot for your money, especially for two nightstands. The drawers work smoothly, and the color is exactly the rich black I wanted to match my other furniture. They aren't too hard to assemble with two people, but I suggest having at least one person who's handy. The instructions are decent, but it was nice to have someone experienced with furniture assembly to help me out.

5 Stars for Customer Service.
Changed my review to 5 stars for customer service. This company is totally dedicated to customer service and followed up with me repeatedly until I was satisfied with their response. Previously I wrote: Looks pretty in my bedroom, and that mitigates a lot of problems. The assembly instructions were very difficult. Worst thing is the material. It's particleboard. One big fix I finally figured is: 1. Separate the plastic anchors from the cambolt first, 2. Tap the anchors into the pre-drilled holes, and 3. Only then screw the cambolt into the anchors. Before I figured this out, the particleboard was oozing out of the holes like wet sand when I screwed the cambolts in the pre-drilled holes. Still had problems with railings.

I don’t love these, but I couldn’t find something I liked at any furniture store. So I settled with these, they are cheap, not steady at all, not easy to put together either. Size is good but the drawers are small, not much to store. They look good but definitely not what I was expecting.
