If you want a sturdy crate, this is it. If you're a 5"2' woman be a body builder or have a man around. I almost couldn't get the box in the house... Probably have a hernia now. I looked at several different kennels and this one had the wood (beautiful) it folds, and it has the bowls. Plus plus plus! Here's my take on those two things. I've seen a few reviews mentioning certain dogs could break through that little window. Yeah, wouldn't be hard to get it open if a bigger dog tried but a) I don't see how they'd fit through the opening to escape and b) you'd have bigger problems because the wood would be destroyed. Which brings me to my next thing: destroyed wood. I got this for my 5 month old cocker spaniel because he spends a lot of time in there bless his heart. He is in there from 8am until 5:30pm weekdays. My friend spoke to me with disdain, "I can't believe you are keeping him locked up in that prison!" Yeah, it's tragic, but it's why he's still alive and hasnt burned the house down. He has a particular fondness for electric cords. So this kennel will definitely get 5 stars for keeping him from suffering the fate of Aunt Bethany's cat (play ball!) and it's kept my house from suffering a worse fate than the Griswold's Christmas tree. So as I mentioned, he's 5 months and can't always hold it throughout the day. Holy crap.... I mean pee.. Was I thinking?!? I didn't find a crate liner that would fit in the floor. Too big,bad. Too small,worse. My best solution was to get a large Kong pillow and stuff it in. Lengthwise were good, but it will not fit widthwise so there is a bit of cushion sticking up in the back and then I put beach towels over that. I can wash the towels if he wants them, and spot clean the Large size Kong pillow, which is supposed to be water resistant. We shall see. Next, I was happily getting his water set up. His favorite past time is spilling his water... Another problem for the wood. I always worry he isn't getting enough water so I was very excited! I sit down and prepare...*face palm*. The bowls are mounted very low and guess what? They wouldn't fit over the thick Kong pillow. Thankfully I had a bolt on bowl,but the convenience of P-PUTing him (Puppy Put Up Time) then swinging the bowl out to fill it was enticing. However, I think it's better this way because water on the door would be a sitting duck due to excitement and clumsiness. Due to where it's located... Where Caper waits eagerly to be freed to resume his Tiny Terrorist activities (Caper's Capers)... I'm sure it would have been knocked out regularly. We shall see, but as of now I'm very pleased. It is substantial, sound, and very well built. And I'm happy he will be able to move around and play tomorrow while I'm at work pining over his perpetually happy face. Oh, one more thing... As we all know, it folds. Watch. Those. Fingers!

Easy to unfold
The crate it self is good. Easy to unfold and if needed to fold up and take to different room. Since I got it my french always wants to get in it. Did get him a orthopedic bed to put in there. My only issue is the lock could have been better
