** Please note: the canopy curtains were a separate Hawkins Woodshop purchase. This canopy bed is an absolute delight and my daughter is obsessed with it... Pros:- For a lot of parts, it's surprisingly easy for 1 person (ahem, supermom!) to put together.- Assembly takes less than 2hrs, with 1 person.- All parts lined up smoothly and easily.- Instructions are easy to follow.- sturdy when assembled.- Absolutely gorgeous bed. Cons:- Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about this bed. If you're looking for the dreamiest princess canopy bed, stop here, you've found it!

Honestly very easy to put together by myself. The rods that are used as "slats" were a little tricky to put in both sides at the same time, but still fairly easy compared to some beds I've put together. My daughter loves it.
