I bought this because me and my little one were moving into a way nicer place than where we were living, and I thought well since we're moving into a nicer apartment I'll go ahead and get us a nice bed frame and a new mattress. As one person, it did take me a while to get this put together by myself, but the instructions were simple and easy to understand, which I appreciate. The tops of the headboard and the footboard *both* where the two pieces come together into that smaller piece that goes right in between them, well both of those do not connect properly, leaving a noticable gap. You would definitely think that it would and it should come together. My little ones happy with it so that's what matters most to me. It doesn't make any noises when getting on and off of it. I gain and lose weight a lot, and right now I am 190 lbs and it holds me. It is sturdy except for those 2 things I mentioned in the beginning of my review. I honestly just think the holes aren't lining up. I would not expect that it's supposed to be made like that? (I have added photos)
