I switched from a taller bed with a box spring and footboard to this lower frame, which freed up some space in the room. The storage drawers are a nice bonus; they're wide but not too tall, for smaller blankets and a few sweaters. If you use a box spring, the mattress will sit higher, and the headboard might feel a bit short, but we went without one, and it ended up just right for us—not too low! The quality seems solid, no wobbling or squeaking at all. Everything was included in the box, and I managed to put it together by myself in a couple of hours.
