Set as side a few hours, grab your drink of choice and take it one step at a time. It will take 1-2 people to assemble and goes together fairly straightforward. We bought two for our senior pug, 2 frenchies (bonded) and two Australian shepherds (one mini and or standard). This is a two kennel setup and I would not suggest for anything bigger than a standard Aussie (55lbs). It is 2 separate areas and you cannot use it without the center divider. It would remove the hinges for the doors and the center support for the top. It is heavy as all get out in the box but once setup, I suggest a runner underneath if you have it on tile or hardwood because it slides easily. I also suggest getting a flat outlet surge bar if you want it to sit flush against the wall and use the power adapters. Those are great. 2 3 prong outlets and 2 usb ports. The backing has reinforced tabs that make sure it is a solid panel. If you have pups that seek out their quiet space, we found that the doors open all the way and you can use a reusable cable strap to secure one door open flat against the other when not securing the dogs in the kennel. The screws that secure the doors shut are small, use the leftover ones marked F for a more secure attachment. We got ours on lightning deal and are confident that the value is worth the cost. These are made of pressed board but present more like a buffet piece of furniture that happens to secure your pets than a wire kennel that looks awkward in the space. We are testing them tomorrow with all 5 pups secured while we are gone for a few hours. Our pups range from puppy (10 weeks and 9 months ) to senior dogs ( 9 and 12 years old). Great for small and medium breed. The double latch on each door and the stoppers that prevent dogs from pullling in the door provide a safe den like space while also not looking like a prison cell. Next purchase will be beds to fit the space.
