Solid desk with great features
Took me around 4 hours to fully put this desk together, and I had a few distractions along the way. I'd suggest using a toolkit or a screwdriver with changeable heads instead of the Allen wrench that comes with it. I ended up stripping a couple of screws and had to finish tightening them with pliers. Once it’s set up right, this desk is definitely sturdy! The LED strip only connects at the two edges, so the middle kind of droops. I’d recommend some double-sided tape or a command strip to keep it looking good. It comes with a remote to control the lights, and there's a white light option too, which is handy for regular lighting. The drawer is pretty spacious for holding essentials. It’s supported by metal bars, so it’s sturdy enough for everyday items. The adjustable bar is a good touch if you want to use hooks for headphones or similar stuff. The lower shelf can hold quite a bit of weight without sagging. Just don’t be reckless with it! There’s also a little junk pocket that’s useful but needs clearing out every couple of months. Comfort wise, it’s great to sit at—for pondering life’s mysteries. And yes, it’s black! That said, I’d recommend giving the wood a quick wipe with a cleaner before putting it all together. Overall, it's a desk for working from home, studying, or even some light gaming if you’re okay with limited space.
