Perfect for my needs
This was just what I needed. My husband put it together, and we only had to replace a few screws with ones from the hardware store, but it was no big deal. Overall, I'm very happy with it!

Great cabinets with a few personal upgrades
I ordered two of these for my home office, and I’m happy with the overall quality. Once assembled, they feel solid and sturdy. The delivery was through FedEx, and the boxes were pretty heavy. They were packed well, although one cabinet had a few minor dings, but nothing I couldn't fix. Putting them together took about 30 minutes, and the instructions were clear. I made a few upgrades after building them. First, I added magnets to the doors since they wouldn't stay closed unless locked, which I didn’t want to do all the time. I found some small magnets online, drilled holes in the corners of the doors, and that did the trick. Second, the clear glass was super reflective during my video calls, so I sprayed it with a matte finish paint. Now it looks great and doesn’t reflect the room anymore. Lastly, it only came with two shelves, one for the top and one for the bottom. I moved both to the top and added a couple of new shelves I bought and cut to size. Colby reached out to check if I was satisfied and even sent me an extra shelf for each cabinet at no charge! They mentioned updates for door magnets are coming soon too. Overall, these cabinets look professional and offer plenty of storage.

This shelf exceeded my expectations! It's completely made of metal, no flimsy pressboard here. The only budget part is the plastic clips that hold the glass doors. Everything arrived in perfect shape, though I did manage to bend a piece since they're a bit delicate. Just a heads up—it's heavy upon delivery. I struggled getting it up a few stairs, which was quite the workout. I felt for the delivery guy! If you're not that strong, you might want to have someone help you move it where you need it. But once it's set up, it's less cumbersome to handle.

Good quality, tricky instructions
This unit was simple to put together and comes with solid hardware. It was packed really well, with hardboard and galvanized steel pieces safeguarding everything during shipping. Moving this box can be tough, even with two people, so I'd suggest using a dolly since it's around 90 pounds. I got it all together in about an hour, but I struggled a bit with some of the instructions. The section on putting the doors on was especially puzzling since it didn't mention that there was a pin already in the top and you need to push it into place from inside. There were also quite a few holes that seemed random, which added to the confusion, but the drawings were clear enough, even if the size was a bit small. It’s nice that they included extra hardware. Overall, it's stable and easy to level. A solid buy.

Shipping was the issue here
I can not blame the company who sold me the product for the damage to it when it was received. The box looked like it fell off the FedEx truck goin down the highway. One side of the cabinet was totally compromised. I attempted to straight it as best as I could but it was beyond repair. The door with the locking mechanism was beyond repair and I got myself a decent little cut on my hand trying to repair it. Again, this is not Hawkins Woodshop’s fault. I have recently ordered another one and hopefully I will have enough parts to make one good cabinet. It appears solid and well made and I’m sure I would have been very happy with it had the shipper not destroyed it. They earned their 5 stars. Just wish I could poorly rate the FedEx employees…
