This was a wow. I love the shelving and the drawers. Perfect for tossing keys, wallet, phone, mail, etc down when walking in the door. It took some time to assemble, but I did everything myself. It looks quite nice, and the instructions were easy to follow. One caution: be careful not to over-tighten some of the bolts. I used an electric screwdriver, and it drove some of the screws right through the metal holes. Also, I assembled one section incorrectly, so that the hooks on the sides were not available on one side. It wasn’t worth fixing (for my use). The quality is quite good. I feel safe sitting on the shoe bench to put in shoes. It’s definitely worth the money.

Beautiful and sturdy. Took a little over an hour for my son and I to assemble. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Didn't think I would like the fabric drawers but they are pretty sturdy as long as you dont put too much in them. I love the gray shelving as it matches my flooring very well. Feels sturdy when you sit on the bench to put your shoes on. Highly recommend this hall tree. I wasn't interested in the lighting so I left it off. I didn't have a recepticle in that location for it anyway.

I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. Overall, it’s a nice piece and one of the easier “Hawkins Woodshop furniture” assemblies, according to my husband. One panel with the coat hooks arrived slightly warped, but once installed it isn’t noticeable. The main downside is the light strip — it looks a bit cheap and part of it wasn’t very sticky, so we had to secure it ourselves. The cord is also short and uses a usb, which requires a nearby outlet or extension. That said, for the price, it’s a decent piece and does the job if expectations are reasonable.
