The perfect crate
This crate is super cute, really well-made and was easy to put together. The 42" is just the right size for our 46 lb senior pittie (who needs extra space to be able to comfortably turn around in the crate because of arthritis) but would easily fit a much larger dog. I put a Molly Mutts crate cover over it to make it more cozy and den-like. This crate is nice and deep, over 29" but beware of the depth measurement on a lot of the other foreign-made crates! They're mostly all too shallow for dogs to turn around in (a depth less than 27" is going to be too tight for a large dog). Alsoplease note: you can't just stick a dog in a crate and expect them to settle down- crate training takes time and should be done well in advance of having to leave a dog alone. Google "how to positively condition dog to crate" and look for instructions written by a certified force-free trainer. If you do this, you'll be setting you and your dog up for success!

Best looking that blends in well with other furniture. Well made sturdy crate that I believe will hold well for the life of the puppy. Easy to put together, fits large German Shepard
Bought this for my large German shepherd who is very tall and over 100 pounds. He fits easily into the crate and it was very easy to put together. The floor seems sturdy. We planned to reinforce it but I donโt think we will need to do that. It is nicer aesthetically than a wire crate but is wider than I thought. Measure carefully. It is not however sturdy enough to contain a dog who needs containment for safety. The metal is very thin and will bend or push out easily with an agressive dog. We need just for him to have quiet time as he likes his own space so this works ok for us. One of the panels arrrived bent and bowed out in places, I will reach out to customer service about this. We waited over a month to put it together so not sure if they will help us. Overall this is a good product and quality is consistent with the price.. Very easy to put together ( under 30 minutes). Affordable and looks as described. Size is good and does fit my extra large shepherd.4 stars because the metal could be sturdier especially from a safety containment standpoint. I would recommend this product.
