This sit-to-stand converter sits on top of your existing desk and gives you 36 inches of width and 24.2 inches of depth to work with, enough room for a laptop alongside a monitor or a full dual-monitor setup. Dual gas springs let you move smoothly from sitting to standing, and a touch height locking mechanism holds the surface anywhere between 4.3 inches and 19.8 inches of rise, so it adjusts to a range of heights.

It arrives fully assembled, so there's no setup required before you start using it. The base is rated to hold up to 33 pounds, enough for two monitors or an all-in-one computer along with your everyday accessories. It's finished in black, powder coated metal, measures 15.7 x 36 x 19.8 inches overall, and includes a keyboard tray as part of the package.

Great Deal with Impressive Quality

After weeks of looking for a cost-effective standing desk converter, I finally decided on this one, and it turned out to be one of the best deals in the 36” range. The keyboard tray is quite spacious, and I was pleased with how it arrived—packed securely and with quality materials. Putting it together was simple; just attach some foam blocks to the bottom of the keyboard tray and use the hex key to screw it in. In terms of functionality, it works flawlessly. The X-shaped design means it moves straight up and down without sticking out awkwardly. It easily supports two 24” monitors, leaving me room for some papers and decorations. As someone who's 6’2”, I'm using it on a 3-foot desk and have to raise it to the maximum height, so take that into account if you're taller. If you're seeking an affordable entry into standing while working, this converter is excellent. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Good Standing Desk Converter

I've never put anything together myself before—I'm the type who usually asks for help or hires someone. But I managed to assemble this desk by myself without any problems. The instructions were straightforward. The hydraulic lift works smoothly, going up easily and coming down slowly. There's plenty of room for my two monitors and keyboard. The color is gorgeous and matches the pictures perfectly. It's not too heavy; I'm 5'2" and about 130 pounds, and I had no trouble moving the box up and down the stairs into my office. If you're looking to convert your current desk into a standing one, I definitely recommend this. The screws were good quality and went in easily with the little screwdriver they included. No extra tools needed. Overall, the desk feels sturdy. I wouldn't want to jump on it, but I'm typing with my wrists resting on it now and it feels solid.

Great desk, wide and easy to adjust

I've been working on a computer for hours every day, and after hurting my back, I needed a standing desk. This one fits my laptop and monitor perfectly, with enough space for my keyboard and mouse too. The quality is solid, and it raises up quickly. Lowering it does take a bit of effort, but it’s manageable. The desk feels stable during use, which is a plus. If only the keyboard shelf could be adjusted lower, that would be great, but honestly, for the price—it's the best deal I found for a 36" desk, even better than some smaller options. I'm really happy with it. The only hiccup was the hex wrench was missing, but I had a spare, so assembly went smoothly. I needed help getting it onto my desk due to my back, but putting it together was easy.

Very satisfied!

I've been working from home for quite a while, and with age, the back pain has kicked in, mostly due to my poor posture. I wanted a standing desk that would let me keep my current setup but also let me switch between sitting and standing during the day. I was a bit hesitant because of the low price, but I have to say, I'm really impressed! PROS: * Minimal setup needed—just attaching the keyboard shelf. * Easy to raise and lower. * It's mostly stable (a tiny wobble, but nothing to worry about) and feels secure. * I like the brown finish, which fits well with my home office. CONS: * The keyboard shelf isn't adjustable, so I wish I could tweak its position a bit. * The mouse space on the shelf isn't too big. OTHER TIPS: * Make sure you don’t forget to buy longer cables like I did! I had to get new DisplayPort cables for my monitors and some longer USB ones too. * Grab some Velcro cable ties. They help a lot when you’re raising and lowering the desk since all the monitor cables go up and down together, reducing the chance of snagging. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it!

I spent a good amount of time looking into budget-friendly standing desk converters and finally settled on this one. It turned out to be one of the most affordable options in the 36” size and had a nice wide keyboard tray. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was packaged; it felt sturdy and high-quality. Putting it together was super simple—just stick some foam blocks on the bottom of the keyboard tray and fasten it with a hex key. In terms of functionality, this thing works great. The “X-Shaped” design means it moves straight up and down without jutting out, which I appreciate. It easily supports dual 24” monitors with plenty of space left for papers and decor. The keyboard tray accommodates any keyboard and mouse since it's as wide as the desk. At 6’2”, I set it up on a 3-foot desk and had to raise it to the maximum height, so keep that in mind if you’re taller. If you want an inexpensive way to start using a standing desk at work, this is a choice. I’m happy with it.

Good Solution at a Reasonable Price Point

I’m a pandemic special education teacher. My day is full of small group virtual meetings, and after a month my body was hurting. I needed to figure out a way to move, but didn’t have a budget for a fancy stand up desk (because my budget is going to curriculum to use virtually). I did some research and ended up landing on this. Pros: easy to raise and lower without much fuss, allows me to quickly change positions, big enough for two monitors, the price point was really nice,Cons: There’s a little bracket at the back of the keyboard tray to keep it from sliding off that was impossible to install given the screws provided. My handy husband was able to install it with things from his shop. The keyboard tray does not back/under, which means the writing space on my desk is almost nonexistent when this is in the lowered position. I’m 5’4, and use this at the tallest setting when I’m standing with good comfort, so people who are much taller than me may not love how short it is for them.
