Assembly Takes Longer Than Expected
This chair hits quite a few marks for what I wanted in an upgrade: good price, solid build, comfy, and it looks nice without going overly gamer or too plain. My only issue is the assembly took way longer than 15 minutes. I'm not a pro at putting together chairs, but I've taken my PC apart and reassembled it many times, so I'm used to handling screws and parts. It took me about an hour and a half to get the chair together, counting unpacking and fixing a mistake where I mixed up screws that looked similar in the diagram. Trust me, the pictures can be misleading, even though the screws do look different when you're holding them. I bet a seasoned furniture builder could knock it out in 15 minutes, though. As for comfort and build quality, this chair is unbeatable for the price. My old mesh chair was getting squeaky after almost three and a half years, so I was ready for an upgrade, and I'm glad I made the switch. It feels like going from a 30fps to a 144fps experience, which you have to feel to understand! The armrests, the backrest's quality, and the head and lumbar support cushions are just fantastic. Just a heads up, the installation isn't a quick one for everyone. I see why they don't come built; the box would be massive and waste a lot of cardboard. But hey, maybe one day they can make it easier to assemble. After spending quite a bit on a comfy chair, the last thing you want is to deal with a frustrating setup. Still, it's manageable even in a small space; I did it in a cramped room. Ideally, try to have a bit more room, like in a garage or a spacious living room.
