Looks great and sturdy!
This desk is just the right size for my home office and has a sleek, modern design. The top is a veneer, but the legs and most of the frame are solid wood, which makes it feel sturdy. I’m happy with it, but I have to say, it took me quite a while to assemble—over three hours by myself. If you’re short on time, you might want to look for a different desk.

This is the perfect sized desk for working from home and is modern yet elegant in both color and style. The top is a veneer, but the legs and most of the frame are solid wood (heavy!). I love it, but it was a lengthy, complex process to put together (3+ hours by myself). If you don’t have time to build your own furniture, maybe pick a different desk.

Great product but the instructions killed me
I wanted to give 4 stars initially because of a small detail (see the reason below ) but I have to be honest and admit that this is a really good product. I bought 2 of them, 1 for me and 1 for my wife. Pro- wonderful product with a beautiful design- a lot of space to work, I use mine with 1 laptop, 2 monitors, a small printer and still have space for other staff- small drawer where you can store your notebook, agenda etc.- sturdy and easy to clean- good materials - sometimes I put my hot coffee mug on the table and nothing happens. Contra:- the only thing that I did not like and annoyed me where the instructions. I spent 3h building the first desk and that's because after the first 2-3 steps everything is reversed and when I arrived at the step to put everything together the pieces where not matching. I had to break everything down and start again. For the 1st desk the drawer is still not closing completely. The 2nd desk was easy after I learned the instructions and it took me 1h. Hopefully Hawkins Woodshop will se this review so they can modify the instructions properly.
