Exceeded My Expectations!
I’m really impressed with this purchase! The assembly was easy—I put it together in about 10 minutes while watching TV, just had to attach four legs. It arrived nicely packed and in shape. You can tell it's great quality, made from solid wood and has a nice weight to it. Even though it’s a simple piece, it looks much more upscale than what I paid. I chose the unfinished wood because I want to stain it to match my decor, but it looks great as is. This is a deal for a good quality item. I’m using it as a dressing table in the guest bedroom. If you need something compact but with a decent surface area, this is the one to get. You won’t regret it. Coming from someone who's usually picky and skeptical!

Great table, simple assembly
I really like this table! It took about 35 minutes to put together, and it's solid and ready for paint. I went with a yellow color using SW cabinet and furniture paint. It's just like the unfinished furniture you'd find at Home Depot, but I saved $20 on it. Every bit helps!

Custom Painted It!
This console is pretty heavy and feels solid, and putting it together was a breeze. I wish they had packed the corners with a bit more cushioning since the first top arrived a little banged up, but the second one was fine. I decided to paint it to match my home trim and to protect the top. The raw wood felt nice and smooth, so I lightly sanded it, primed with a water-based primer, and then sanded again since the grain showed up a lot after priming. I used two coats of a good quality semi-gloss latex paint, rolling on the flat surfaces for a cleaner look. You can still see and feel the wood grain under the paint, and I think sanding after the first coat might have helped too. Overall, I’m happy with it—great quality for the price, and it fits perfectly under the TV in my guest room that I rarely use.
