Great bench for our kitchen!
I just received this bench today around 5 PM, and it's now 7:30 PM. The packaging was really good, and it actually arrived a day early. Putting it together was easy, and it came with all the bolts, washers, and even a small wrench. We got this for our kitchen table that we found and refurbished. It’s a six-seater, so we needed something practical for future kids and nieces/nephews. The bench fits perfectly under the table without having to shuffle any of the other chairs around. The space between the table legs is about 52 inches, and the bench itself is 47 inches long. It feels sturdy, too! I didn’t sand it before staining and didn’t run into any problems there. We used Minwax Special Walnut and sealed it with a Minwax finish. You won’t regret this purchase!

Impressive Quality!
I bought this for my mom, and after checking prices for materials and factoring in my time, I thought I'd give this a shot. If it didn’t look or feel great, I could always send it back. But my first impression? Wow, it looks and feels really nice! The assembly was straightforward, and the packaging was top-notch—everything was included. I used a 1/4” ratchet with a 13mm deep well socket to put it together, but I didn’t crank it too hard. It was a breeze to assemble, taking just a few minutes. Now I’m considering getting one for myself!

Great bench!
This bench is a great deal for what I paid ($86)! I noticed that most benches on sites like Wayfair and Target are over $100 and look pretty flimsy. After a lot of research, I decided to take a chance on this one, and I'm glad I did! It fits perfectly under my window, and I love the unfinished wood style. You could paint it if you want, but I think the natural look is really nice. It was easy to put together and feels sturdy enough to sit on. I can see it fitting well in an entryway, too.

Great quality bench!
I’m really happy with this bench. It looks beautiful and is clearly well made. Unlike a lot of furniture I've bought, Hawkins Woodshop did a job packing it for shipping, so it arrived in condition. I was a bit skeptical at first since the price was low, but the all-wood construction exceeded my expectations. The legs were easy to put on. I decided to add a light stain to it; just mixed some paint with water and wiped it on, so the wood grain still shows through. Plus, the bench has a nice weight to it.

Solid and stylish piece!
This bench is incredibly sturdy and was easy to put together—only four legs and the top piece with a few bolts to fasten. The finish feels nice, and the wood grain is beautiful, almost like a mix of white pine and oak. The top has the look of finger-jointed pine boards. The dimensions were spot-on as advertised, so no surprises there. Overall, it’s a great addition. I added a couple of coats of water-based poly to protect it from scratches, which deepened the color just a bit, making it look even better. Definitely worth what I paid, and I might have snagged it on sale! I paired it with a console table from Hawkins Woodshop for my bedroom update, and I’m thrilled with both items. Five stars for sure—no complaints!
