I'm really happy with this table from Hawkins Woodshop. After dealing with some not-so-great furniture in the past, this one is pleasantly surprising. Finally, a quality table from Hawkins Woodshop. And this comes from someone who’s experienced really poor quality furniture from Hawkins Woodshop recently and over the years. I just put it together, and assembly was just straight forward - you just attach four legs and that’s it. The only thing that would have make it easier is if assembly used a screw driver instead of a wrench, and it would have saved time. But, assembly was still very simple and straightforward. I got this table to act as a desk/dining table combo for my one bedroom apartment, and I believe it meets those needs.

Solid and easy to put together
If you’ve ordered furniture from Hawkins Woodshop, Ikea, Wayfair etc you know there are two things that make it worth the stars. 1. Does it feel like it will collapse with minimal use 2. Does it take 5 people 12 hours and vodka to put it together. I am happy to share that this table meets both criteria. I’ve had it sitting in a box in my living room dreading the process of putting it together and inevitably something being out of line or requiring 25 different screws etc. I can report that there are 4 legs a table top, 8 screws and washers. It took me 10 min. The table feels solid and appears to be actual wood. And because the screws are thick and sturdy none of the legs are moving about and it appears to be able to do the duty of handling the weight of food and 7 year old antics. And I think it’s a nice table - I may decide to paint or stain it but that’s my own decor needs. Worth the money. Shipped quickly. Directions are straight forward and easy to follow and given the small number of pieces it didn’t require much thought. If you’re on the fence perhaps this review will be helpful.
