Omg this matters is awesome! I was nervous to buy it! But!! It’s a tuft and needle spin off from them!! Kin! I have back issues and pressure points! It matters made me feel so much better in the morning! After letting it breathe for 24 hours smell that it had dissipated. It didn’t smell bad at all! No hot spots, so comfy, old queen sized sheets fit perfectly! If you’re on a budget and want something very nice this is it!

Collapsing fast...
It was never firm--even brand-new. It was comfy though for the first couple of months, but now, the cushion feels softer and less supportive, and I worry I'll be out buying another mattress by next year... Update: after many months with the mattress, while again it was never firm, it is holding up fine and I have come to enjoy the comfortable sleep it provides.

Bought this for Toddler
We love it. Kid loves it. I bought this for my 2.5 year old toddler as he's a larger sized toddler and couldn't justify a "toddler" sized bed that was really crib sized. I didn't want to spend money on a "kid special" mattress since they're just marketing words. This bed was quality without the inflated price tag. We've had it 6 months now or so and he still sleeps great.

The first night I slept on it I fell asleep with the light on which never happens to me. I thought it might be a one off so I bought it again for another house and the same thing happened. The Kin 8 inch mattress was such a steal at this price that I ended up buying three of them and a Tuft and needle topper (for a 4th bed). The mattress feels medium firm to me - one step above medium but one step below firm. The adaptive foam is super comfortable and being someone who sleeps cold I haven’t noticed the mattress trapping any heat, but if it did (like a few other reviewers have said), I personally wouldn’t mind because I hate feeling cold at night. For reference I have tried other non-memory foam mattresses like the Boring All foam mattress (nice but a little too squishy), Sleep on latex mattress (I did not like the feeling of latex and no pressure point relief), Eco terra mattress (too soft), Brooklyn bedding signature hybrid mattress (too soft). This one is the cheapest ironically and to me, feels the best. Mattresses are one of the few areas in life where it seems you don’t get what you pay for.
