Definitely recommend!!
I was a bit hesitant about ordering something like this online, but I'm so glad I did! It's really nice, strong, and sturdy. We got a 200lb mattress that needed a platform frame, and I couldn't find what I wanted locally, so I checked out Hawkins Woodshop and found this! The price was great, and it arrived in under a week, in shape with all the necessary parts. Neither my husband nor I are handy at all, so we usually rely on our adult kids for stuff like this! It took my husband around three and a half hours to put it together, with a little help from my father-in-law. The assembly was pretty straightforward, but the instructions were a bit tricky since they only had pictures and they were hard to see. If we managed it, anyone can! Just a heads up, those corners and the center support bar can be tricky— I used some cut-up pool noodle pieces to pad those areas until we get used to it. I saw some reviews saying it squeaked, but we haven't heard any noises, and we made sure to tighten the bolts well. My husband is 185lbs and I'm 145lbs, and we even bounced on it— it's a good-looking frame! I suggest having your own Allen wrenches and crescent wrench since the tools included are a bit basic. I used their crescent wrench, and it worked fine, but my husband used better tools. A power drill would have sped things up a lot, and would have cut the assembly time significantly since there are quite a few bolts. I recommend this frame!

Solid Build, Just Mind Your Toes!
If you're not a fan of putting furniture together, this might not be your thing. But if you like assembling stuff, it’s a fun project. Every piece—bolt, nut, and washer—is clearly labeled and packed in separate compartments. The instructions could use a bit of clarity, especially with a larger font for folks like me. Still, it all came together nicely. I opted to use my own tools instead of the small wrench and Allen key included. The bed frame is super sturdy, made entirely of steel, and I believe it will hold up well once it’s all tightened. There’s about 12 inches of space underneath, giving us plenty of room for storage. My girlfriend and I are thrilled with it, especially with the ZINUS 12 Inch Ultra Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress on top. But a heads-up about the center support legs on each side. They’re great for preventing sagging, but I’ve accidentally stubbed my toes on them a few times and even hit my heel this morning while getting out of bed. It's just something to get used to since I’ve never had a bed with this type of support before. I grabbed some foam pipe wrap from Lowes to cover the steel pipe, which should help without changing the look of the bed at all (see photo). Overall, I’m giving this five stars. It looks great, is solidly built, and came with every piece I needed. Just keep those toes safe!

Sturdy - has held up well
We've had this bed for close to a year now, and I'm still really happy with it. It's sturdier than I thought it would be, and putting it together was a breeze. It looks great in our room and has survived some energetic moments, if you know what I mean. Overall, I'm pleased with it. And for what we paid (about $182 with tax), it was a good deal.

Sturdy and simple to assemble
It arrived in perfect condition. This bed is well-made and feels solid. It’s a great upgrade from our old one and looks nice. As for assembly, it’s much easier if you use your own tools, especially a hand drill with a HEX bit. The provided wrench can be a bit cumbersome and may take longer. I also ordered a platform to support the mattress better instead of just laying it on the slats. I found one with great reviews for $119, which should arrive this week. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase.

I'm really happy with this product. It arrived in condition, and the internal packaging was good. Everything was intact, with no damage at all. The instructions are picture-based, which I prefer for items made overseas. It took me about an hour to put it together. They included an allen wrench and a small wrench, which worked fine for the assembly. To be honest, I was surprised at how sturdy the finished product feels. Great frame for my bed setup
This frame is just what I needed for my bed in a box. It's sturdy and the quality is impressive. I really appreciate all the extra supports it has. I took a tip from another customer and wrapped the middle support and end frame with pool noodles to keep toes safe. I also put sliders on all the legs since it's on carpet, which makes moving it around a breeze. It does get pretty heavy once it's put together, but I like the materials and how easy it is to use. Finally, I don’t have to deal with box springs anymore. Highly recommend!
