Stylish bed frame with great storage and led lights
Hello. I’m very happy with this bed frame. It looks modern and stylish, and the led lights give the bedroom a really nice and cozy atmosphere. Sturdy Bed Frame With a Lengthy Assembly

Build Quality & Stability:Once assembled, the bed frame feels solid and sturdy. The materials are good quality, and there’s no noticeable wobble or creaking during use. It supports the mattress well and feels reliable for everyday use. Storage Drawers:The under-bed drawers are useful for extra storage and slide smoothly. I was originally very upset when I bought this bed and assembled it. We all know the frustration of putting together furniture, and when it doesn't turn out as expected it's very disappointing. When Hawkins Woodshop saw that I had problems with assembly and was unhappy with the result, they took the initiative to reach out to me and help me solve the problem. They answered my messages in less than 24 hours every time and stuck with me until I was completely satisfied with the order. I would definitely recommend having two people to assemble this bed. With someone to help and careful attention to the instructions, this bed could be very impressive, especially for the low price. The metal frame supports the mattress well without any sinking between slats like they do with wooden frames. The slats are metal and bolted to the side rails, so they don't slide around under the mattress. It doesn't squeak, and overall the structure itself is pretty solid. The particle board used for the headboard and drawer fronts look great, but I wouldn't recommend exposing it to too much moisture. That's the case with most furniture these days, though. The light bar on the footboard is very cool! The headboard lighting is an led light strip that you attach yourself, but that leaves room for customization for you to run it the way that you'd like instead of having it permanently fixed in one spot. I'm considering adding another light strip along the side rails to really make it pop and to protect my legs when I clumsily bump into the corner when walking past it or slide off the bed at the wrong angle. The power outlet on the headboard is super handy. I have nightstands on both sides of my bed with charging ports also, but I find that having them behind me on the headboard makes it easier for me to use my phone while it's plugged in without having a cord stretched across the side of the bed. I ran it under my pillow and it's super convenient. It's difficult to find a storage bed for under $200. I've seen many that charge $200 just for the headboard without the bed included! As far as lower priced furniture goes, this one is pretty decent. The problems I did have were resolved by the company within a matter of days, and I can tell they truly care about their customers' satisfaction. I would definitely buy from this company again. They really did go above and beyond to make sure that I was completely happy with my purchase, and not many companies take the time or initiative to do that. I didn't even need to message them. They reached out to me to help me with assembly issues. I'm beyond impressed with how they handled the entire situation, and I'll be looking at their shop for more furniture I'm going to need for my new house.

Lots of pieces, but as long as you follow set up instructions, can be put together very easily. It didn't take me a few hours to put together, but all in all, this is a very very nice bedframe! I love it. Love that it has shelves and cabinets, and don't forget the drawers underneath! The lights are very good, and good height, but you definitely wanna make sure you have a thick mattress. Love that you don't need a box spring with it. Very good price, very good quality, and very comfortable! Not a lot of adjustability, but sturdy and stable. Makes no noise at all! Love this bed frame. Highly recommend as long as you know how to put stuff together! If not I'd definitely call a friend or someone who does! I did add my own led lights to it to make it pop a bit more, because I love the vibe and feel of them. The shelves and cabinets aren't too big, perfect size if you ask me. Just enough space for you to decorate or do whatever you want with it. The drawers are a good size, I can store all my bedding and stuff in there.

Overall take: I'm extremely glad I ordered this. It exceeds my expectations by far. It's a great bed, sturdy, looks nice, convenient to have the shelves right there. Had dealings with Hawkins Woodshop and it was smooth. Details…A part was missing in my box, one set of what should have been mirror image pieces were 2 of the same thing. I contacted Hawkins Woodshop and they immediately got back to me that the part was not in inventory so they manufactured one and shipped direct. It took a couple of weeks but when it shipped it got across the globe to me shockingly fast. Assembly was just fine. I'm a 5 foot tall 50 year old woman in moderate to poor shape and I did it myself in an evening without a problem, even with a kitten distracting me throughout. I had power tools available but I didn't even use them. If you've read all the reviews about the assembly process, I mean it's pretty clear from the images that this has lots of parts and it comes flat-packed so it isn't surprising. It's not at all harder than it looks like it would be from the listing. Just have the right expectations from what you see. The instructions were clear, everything was machined very well, pilot holes were straight and accurate, so I had no problems getting everything lined up and tightened quite well even though my hands aren't strong. If you're someone who doesn't know which way a screwdriver works, just get a handyman for assembly, who can probably do it in an hour. It's really not that bad. The price of the bed is so good that hiring out assembly if needed doesn't hurt too much. Ikea beds with storage start at like $800 for about the same quality. I had been concerned from the images that the slats might be too far apart so I was planning to either cut some of the box to fit longways and anchor it, or maybe even buy lumber if needed. I didn't do either thing and I don't think it's gonna be needed in the end. The mattress (12" gel foam I got from Woot) is pretty secure as is. Based on some other reviews I did check the lights and plugs at first when I did a parts check and they were fine, but take heed of others who needed replacements. If you do, my experience with Hawkins Woodshop was very smooth, as noted above. The one tiny thing I didn't catch at first, even though there is a warning on the instructions, is to pay attention to the backing of the led strip and take off only the paper and not the whole tacky strip. I thought I had it right but maybe a quarter way through applying it I realized I was taking the whole thing off. That part of the strip still stuck to the frame though so I just corrected and went on. If it starts unsticking at some point I'll use some double-sided tape. No big deal. On the shelves there are cutouts for running cables for the led, which makes for really easy charger cable management too. I put a bluetooth speaker and watch charger and all that jazz and can keep the cables secured and neat in the back. The hardware comes in blister packs which made it easy to check parts. But do think ahead and keep everything in the packs - don't just rip them open or you'll never know what is what because the part labels will be destroyed. It's easy to just slice each section open and take what you need as you need it. Snap a pic before hand in case of accidents. Oh, one thing I tried to figure out and couldn't from the images on the listing was how the side cubbies were designed… I couldn't tell if it was actually little cubbies or more like a shelf that ran the length of the back of the headboard. There are proper cubbies there for books or whatnot with their own back and sides. I didn't measure for this review, but it's just about a foot deep or so, maybe more. Overall, if you need a bed like this one, you can't go wrong especially for the price. Measure your space and check the dimensions listed for the shelves and all, it's very accurate. I saw some people mention it's smaller than expected but everything is as depicted so just check measurements if it's not clear. It's not a huge, overbearing headboard, it's just the right size to hold what most of us need handy. For scale, I put a standard sized tissue box in one of the smallest shelves and it fit almost exactly. Hope this helps your decision, I hemmed and hawed for days because there were not many reviews when I bought it, but it was a great purchase and I feel like I saved a lot of money over comparable beds like Ikea.

We got this for our son, everything works great its sturdy, looks wonderful, fits queen perfectly. The instructions are clear and the most difficult and longest part was the headboard. Putting it together was loud and we were doing it on Christmas eve and we accidently woke our sin up thankfully he didn't see it but it is very loud to put together once done bed is quiet doesn't squeak but you can hear the electricity coming from the plug on the top of headboard. The drawers are funky and a little difficult to put together. But great bed would definitely recommend
