The bed frame sits quite low to the ground, but you can adjust the headboard height, which is a nice feature. Make sure to check your mattress depth to see if it’ll work for you. No box spring is needed because the wooden slats are pretty close together, but it really is low without one. Putting it together was easy, though the package is a bit heavy, so keep that in mind! It feels sturdy and is also easy to clean—I've been vacuuming the fabric with an upholstery attachment. The color matches what was shown. I found the price quite reasonable for a king size. After almost a year of use, I'm happy with this purchase and hope it lasts a while.
