Cute little set, but with issues
When I first unboxed this, I was a bit taken aback since it feels more suited for kids than adults. After struggling to put it together, I was pleased with the table—it's well made and sturdy. The chairs are just okay though; they aren't super comfy on the back since the metal back can be harsh. Overall, it’s a nice little set for smaller spaces, and I did recommend it at first. However, after about nine months, the chairs started falling apart. I tried reaching out to Hawkins Woodshop multiple times with no response, and of course, after 30 days, there isn't much Amazon can do. So, I'm left with a broken chair, and I can’t say I recommend the set anymore. The table is great, but the chairs let it down. I wish they had invested the same quality into the chairs as they did the table. I hope Hawkins Woodshop sees this and addresses the issue. It's frustrating to pay for something and end up with a product that doesn't last. Their customer service needs improvement too, as I found it hard to reach them. Just to update my review: even though the chairs broke after four months, I also had a good experience with another company that stepped in to help with similar issues, but that’s a different story. For now, I can't give more than 2 stars for this set.

Overall, I like it and think it’s a cute little set. However, I’ve had it for about nine months now, and the chairs are starting to fall apart. I tried reaching out to Hawkins Woodshop several times but didn’t get any answers, and I’ve left several messages. I also checked in with them after realizing Hawkins doesn’t handle returns after 30 days, so now I’m stuck with a broken chair. It’s just not built for adult use, and I wouldn't recommend this set anymore. It’s really disappointing considering the price I paid. I wish they had spent the same effort on the chairs as they did on the table. I hope Hawkins Woodshop sees this and addresses these issues because it's unfair to customers. Their service on the website is just as unhelpful as the phone support. Update: The truth is that the chairs fell apart after four months. I understand these things can happen, whether it's factory issues or shipping damage. However, I had a great experience with Hawkins Woodshop when I reached out for help. They asked for pictures and proof of purchase, which took some time and back-and-forth emails, but they came through for me and replaced both chairs! They followed up to make sure I was satisfied, and I appreciate that. I love the set and it’s gorgeous! Five stars for their great customer service!

Awesome dining set!
I’m really happy with this dining set! I found it just in time, especially since I needed something for Thanksgiving. The price was the biggest draw for me—much cheaper than anything I saw at Walmart or local thrift stores, and it promised fast shipping. I took a chance on it, and I’m glad I did! It arrived right on time and putting it together was a piece of cake. I did most of it by myself, and while I had a bit of trouble tightening the screws, it wasn’t anything major. The table and chairs feel solid overall. Yes, the table wobbles a tiny bit, but it’s not a big deal. The tempered glass top is thick and can handle heat, which is great. The chairs seem uneven at first, but they feel stable when you sit on them, and they’re comfy too. I did have a couple of missing screws, but I reached out to Colby, and he got back to me the same day promising to send the replacements right away. They were polite about it, so I don’t think it's worth stressing over that little hiccup. Overall, it's an set and great customer service. I’d recommend it for a family of four or a small office!
