Great Kitchen Cart – Be Aware of the Height
This cart is a great deal for what I paid. It looks nice, has good storage, but keep in mind it’s lower than standard countertops. I’ve got the 2-drawer, 4-door model, which is the 35.4-inch wide version, and it works well for my needs. For around $159, it’s sturdy and definitely adds extra storage and workspace. It’s not a high-end kitchen island, but it does its job for daily use. The build feels solid once it's set up. I swapped the knobs to match my cabinets, which helped a lot. The wood countertop is real, not particle board, but it's not perfectly smooth, so I wouldn’t use it for direct food prep. It works great for small appliances and general kitchen stuff, though. One thing to note is that it's about four inches shorter than a standard countertop. If you’re shorter, it’ll be fine, but if you’re taller, it might feel low. Storage is good, with decent space in the drawers and cabinets. Assembly took me around three hours, so follow the instructions closely. I suggest using manual tools instead of a drill for better control. I did have a problem with a part, but Hawkins Woodshop helped me get a replacement without having to return the whole thing, which was great. Don't throw away the box too soon, as you might need it if you ever want to return it. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It looks good and gives me the space I wanted.

I initially checked with Colby about whether this came assembled since it said it did, but it actually arrives in a pretty heavy box for self-assembly. The delivery instructions also mentioned to have a clear path for placing it, which wasn't accurate. After I put it together, which was fairly straightforward, I noticed a few screws could be tighter, but they're secure enough as long as you don't overdo it. Sturdy and Beautiful Kitchen Island!
This was quite the project! It took me a couple of days to assemble, but I’m happy I stuck with it. I absolutely love my new kitchen island; it looks great and is handy for storage. It did come with a slight gap in one area, but it’s in a spot where it doesn’t bother me. The drawers work just fine! Just be mindful of the height with the wheels—I didn’t check properly, so it’s a bit taller than I wanted, but it’s too useful to send back now. The weight of this piece feels solid and high quality, but my box arrived a little damaged. I was missing a part and reached out to Colby for help. They got back to me fast and sent the part in just a couple of days. Great customer service! I'm more than happy with my purchase and can’t recommend Hawkins Woodshop enough!

Perfect for my kitchen needs.
I got this kitchen island and I really like it. The instructions were easy to follow, though I did have a bit of trouble putting it together by myself. I eventually got it done! The only thing I didn't love were the wheels. Since I’m always barefoot at home, using the brakes is a bit tricky, so I switched them out for some wooden feet I found separately. I originally planned to keep it in one spot anyway, so that worked out. It’s a great size and gives me extra space for food prep. I’d recommend it!
