It took me about an hour to get everything set up, and I'm not exactly a pro at this. It does catch a bit when pulling the drawer out; I have to lift it slightly to get it fully out. It's also a bit taller than I wanted, but that's just me—I’m 5 feet tall. I wish there was an option for a black base with a butcher-block top, but honestly, the dark cherry looks nice too. After searching for an island for a few months, I'm glad I went with this one. It fits my kitchen perfectly and the quality is way better than some of the pricier options I found at other stores.
