I recently picked up the Ahomly 44.49" Kitchen Island with Trash Can Storage, and I’m really happy with it. It adds a stylish and functional touch to my kitchen, especially since I needed more prep space. The main surface is made of this great waterproof rubberwood that holds up well against daily cooking. I love the foldable drop-leaf countertop—it gives me extra space when I’m cooking or hosting. The storage options are smart, too! I appreciate the hidden trash cabinet for my 10-gallon bin that helps keep odors at bay and clears up the floor. It also has an adjustable shelf, a drawer, a spice rack, a towel bar, and a knife holder to keep everything organized and close at hand. It moves easily with the wheels, and two of them lock to keep it steady. A couple of things to note: the assembly took me quite a while, around 3 to 5 hours, and I needed a second set of hands for the cabinet doors. Some parts were a bit hard to find since they weren’t labeled. Also, the instruction manual could use some improvement. But all in all, I think it’s a solid buy for the price!

Unusually Good Product
I can’t begin to describe how many pieces of furniture I’ve assembled, but it’s way enough to know a good one when I see it … and this is a good one. I did it all by myself, but I understand why the instructions suggest it’s a two person job. Side note: I have all the tools in the world, but I actually used the screwdriver they included and it was usable and not a piece of junk! I’ve never said that before! And the end product is exactly as advertised, not some disappointing result I shrug and accept reluctantly. Excellent product!
