I couldn't wait to share my thoughts. The desk looks great—very practical and modern with good quality. It arrived without any scratches or missing parts, and I love the amount of space it offers. The height is just right, and it’s easy to move around. It’s a two-person job to set it up, especially for tightening the screws, but if you’re strong enough, you could do it solo; my husband helped me out. The instructions were clear, just make sure to follow every step and check the hole directions. It arrived before the expected delivery date, which was a nice surprise. Hawkins Woodshop included everything we needed, even some extra screws just in case. The accessories are nice too; I haven't set them up yet because I’m waiting to connect my PC first. Assembly Takes Time, But Definitely Worth It
Putting this desk together was a bit of a chore, but it's not too tough if you follow the instructions. Make sure not to tighten the screws all the way until everything is aligned, since there’s a bit of wiggle room to get it level. Overall, it’s a fantastic desk. It’s only a tad bigger than my old one, but the shelving and pegboard free up a lot of space! I was worried about how thin the boards are, but they seem sturdier than other desks I've used that are similar. Despite some minor annoyances, I love this desk! It offers great versatility for the price. A couple of other things to note: the recessed power strip is a nice addition, especially since the included light strip is USB-powered. The space for a PC case is about 9.5”W x 13”L x 19”H. The headset hook is a bit on the small side, sticking out only an inch, or 1.5” if you count the angled end, so I had to buy a third-party under-desk hook for my Astro headset with its wider headband. If you use a monitor arm or mic arm that clamps onto the desk, I've had no issues fitting mine beneath the metal support bar. I recommend getting some Velcro cable ties or clips for better cable management, as the area underneath is pretty open and can get messy with a bigger setup.
