The assembly instructions are some of the clearest I've ever encountered for a piece of furniture that has multiple configurations. Right at the start, it tells you which pages you need for each setup, so there’s no confusing back and forth. Plus, it comes with all the tools you'll need for assembly, which is great if you're not typically kept stocked with tools. The only downside is a common issue I've seen with many desks today—a missing built-in keyboard tray. Thankfully, I had a clamp-on tray already. While the desk height works for most, it can be a bit awkward if you're shorter and want to keep your feet on the ground while typing or gaming.

Just a heads up, you should pay attention to the instructions, especially regarding the direction of the poles, to make sure everything lines up right. This desk can be configured for either a left or right L shape, so there are different hole placements. I initially installed one of the poles incorrectly and had to adjust it, but that was an easy fix—just loosened it up and twisted it until the holes matched. Everything else went together smoothly, and it looks like it will be easy to disassemble and reassemble if I need to. I'm recommending it to my friends!

This desk is a great deal for its price! Setting it up was quite straightforward. While it isn't a massive, heavy-duty desk, it's sturdy enough that there's no wobbling or shaking—it feels solid. All the frame parts are made of metal, which is a plus. The drawers are just simple fabric boxes that come flat but serve their purpose just fine. The one downside for me is the top surface depth: it's a bit narrow from front to back. If you're using a computer with a decent monitor, it feels pretty close when you're seated. Your arms will also hang off the edge when typing. Aside from that, I’m quite happy with it, especially if you're upgrading from having no desk at all. The outlets on top are handy for plugging stuff in without dealing with cords everywhere, and the shelf under the L-shaped end is perfect for a computer, even a heavier one. You can set it up as an L shape on either side, so there are holes in different spots. I accidentally put one pole with the screw holes on the side instead of the top, but it was a simple fix. I loosened the ends, twisted it around, and then tightened everything back without any trouble. All the screw holes lined up perfectly, and the assembly went smoothly. If I ever need to take it apart, I can tell that won't be an issue. I’d recommend it to my friends!

Pretty nice desk
The desk came together really nicely. The instructions were correct that you would need a partner to help, at least for me as I do not rather enjoy building things. Please be aware that depending on how you want to orient your desk, will depend on how you have to put it together. The instruction book gives you three different options. I chose assembly option 2 because I wanted the longer piece on the left side of me. The book shows #7 in the back at first but then on another page shows 7 being closest to you. So that was a little confusing. Needless to say #7 needed to go in the back and #8 in the front. I also ended up having to flip #7 due to me having the holes needed to connect the #10 bar, facing the outside. Bar #11 actually needed to go on inside of the structure because it has the extra hole needed to connect #9 and #12 is the bar that is closet to the wall. So after thinking holes were missing, it was user error. Also be mindful of how you install the drawer holders. The flat side should be facing outward so that the drawers can slide in. It was brought to my attention that I had a few of them on backwards and had to flip them around. The desk is pretty stable and it fits perfectly in the space I wanted it for. I really like the overall design. It’s simple but perfect for a bedroom desk. It also has a pretty nice height. The drawers are cloth which doesn’t bother me and they are actually not bad quality.

It was priced below most desks of this size. I like the fact that it can be set up with the L on either the left or the right. That versatility allowed me to fit it into my limited space better (as my sewing machine cabinet is on the side where the drawers are). The cross braces not only provide stability but also give you an excellent place to strap excess cords for cable management. The instructions are some of the best I've seen for furniture that can be assembled in multiple ways. At the beginning of the book it shows you flat out that if you want to assemble it one way you want pages 6-18 and for the other way pages 19-32. No bouncing back and forth between "do this or that" type of stuff. And for those that don't normally keep tools around, or are just totally disorganized at the moment, it even comes with ll the tools needed for assembly. The only downside to this desk is what I don't like about most desks these days. The lack of a built in keyboard tray. Luckily, I already had a clamp on one. The top isn't too high for many people to use for their keyboard and mouse, but for those of us that aren't blessed in the height department, it's an uncomfortable reach if we want to keep our feet on the floor while typing or gaming.
