Great lap desk!
This lap desk is just what I was looking for. I needed something that was more than just a prop for my books, and this fits the bill perfectly. The cushion is soft and feels good on my lap. I like that I can adjust the tilt a bit. Plus, the cover is removable for washing, which is a nice touch. I can easily set up my iPad and phone in the slot at the top. The small ledge at the bottom is a clever feature—it keeps my book from sliding off, but when I'm writing, I can push it in for a flat surface. I’ll mainly use this for journaling and Bible study, and it holds everything I need while letting me write comfortably.

Great Size and Comfortable Beads!
I had to wait a little while for my lap desk to arrive, but now that I've got it, I'm really pleased. The large size gives me plenty of space for my laptop and mouse. The best part is the beaded cushion—unlike foam, I can shift the beads around to find a comfortable spot on my legs. I also use it for reading and writing, and there's room for notes, coloring, or sketching. The texture on top keeps everything from sliding off. Plus, there's a long slot for holding various items. I was surprised to see that the trim is one solid piece—no seams that might snag anything. It's lightweight and the little carry loop makes it easy to take around. The beaded pillow is my favorite feature; I’ve had a smaller one before that broke open and spilled beads everywhere. This one has a removable, washable cover, and the beads are contained so I don’t have to worry about a mess. It arrived nicely packaged, which was great because the box was a bit damaged, but the desk itself was fine. There's a small instruction book that clearly explains how to remove the pillow cover for cleaning. The fabric feels a bit like a t-shirt with some stretch, allowing the beads to move around easily. Perfect lap desk
This perfectly suits my needs. I needed a proper lap desk, not just a lap book prop. This is perfect. The cushion is soft and comfortable. You can slightly adjust the tilt. And according to the directions, I will be able to remove the cover for washing in the future. I am able to set up my iPad and phone at the top in the slot. And I really like the small ledge at the bottom. It is big enough to stop a book sliding off, but what I especially like is if you need to be writing, you can use your hand to push the ledge in and you have a flat writing surface. Mostly I will be using this for journaling and Bible study so I can fit everything I need on top and do my writing comfortably.

An elegant item, works perfect for me!
I spend a lot of time in a recliner and wanted a “desk” to use my 15” laptop and mouse while in the chair. This item works perfectly-plenty of maneuvering room on the surfac and i find the cushion very comfortable and the weight is not noticeable to me. I was a little concerned with the pricing, but after handling it I’m very impressed with the design and manufacturing - worth it, an elegant item.. The surface has a light leather grain type texture - I thought it would be smooth, but nevertheless, the mouse works fine. Adds to the elegance. The little guard at the bottom is lightly spring loaded so it is easily depressed, but don’t really need it, nothing slides on this textured surface. The phone slot truly is in the wrong place and therefore useless to me, I use it to store pencils. I’m quite happy with this purchase - bought another ( The small size) to use exclusively with my 11” iPad. Now I can share with my wife with no interruptions. She uses her 16” laptop exclusively on the sofa, and was immediately dazzled when I let her “borrow” mine. Very highly recommended.. Worth the bucks.
